Good stuff, glad you warmed to it :) Nah Going Underground was only a single, got to no1 mind you. They had a few great singles that were never on any album.. 'Strange Town' 'When Your Young' 'News of the World' 'All Around the world' to name a few

Let me know how you get on with 'All Mod Cons' if you like Tube Station, i'm sure you'll love it. I've listened to them non-stop since I discovered them 3 years ago, you are in the lucky position of being able to hear their songs for the first time fresh!

lol and to this day, he still has a semi-mullet! On youtube, type in Bruce Foxton, the first video that comes back is 'Tube Station' performed at the end of last year, they still kick ass. The stand in 'Paul Weller' isn't half bad either!

I have seen the video many times, glad you checked them out tho! They got lots of vids on youtube, some really good live ones too, I used to host them myself until they were all taken off :( The Jam have actually reformed now for a tour.. except without Paul Weller (the lead singer and song writer) Bruce Foxton is a legendary bass player, he's the reason I took up playing bass myself. :)

That's great to hear, I was also recommended them by a mate I used to work with, and they've been my no1 band ever since. The albums 'All Mod Cons' 'Sound Affects' and 'The Gift' are essential, in any order! They have 6 studio albums, but those are argueably the best to start you off with. :)

aah the Los Palmas 7, best instrumental track ever. :) I was actually born slap bang in the middle of Madness' fame, but having two older brothers I was willingly fed all their music, and so I grew up being into the same bands and groups as them. Which to this day, I thank them for!

If you like your Brit music, I highly recommend my most listened to band, the Jam

Don't get me wrong, one step beyond is still a blinding album, so many memories of growing up from that album. If you ever get the chance, look for the album entitled 'seven', its another corker of an album
