I believe there isn't anything wrong with experimenting to an extent... but to drop their rock for a pop sound is awful and makes them look like mainstreamy idiots. They just used to write amazing songs that i REALLY loved and now I don't enjoy what they're releasing... maybe because they' sound so much like queen, a band I don't like.. I've only listened through the album a few times on spotify admittedly, but I liked (or at least didn't dislike) all their previous albums on almost first listen. Trust me, I wouldn't be saying I hated what they'd turned into if I loved it, I used to be the biggest muse fangirl going! if other people enjoy it then that's cool, I've got into a lot more bands since the days I loved muse the most.
