First show I've ever seen at the Mann Music Center. Missed all of The National set and most of the Modest Mouse due to traffic and bad navigating on my part. After leaving the show I realized there is a better why to get to the venue without taking I-76 and its not the way I went. So going in I was a little upset that I missed the bands I really wanted to see.
REM played a good if sometimes underwhelming show. They played a few songs that had previously not been heard live or only a few times. I like the idea of them playing studio stuff live and it was fun to hear. You can not deny the REM hits and we got a few. Pearl Jam was in the audience since they had a show the next day in Philadelphia. For an encore Eddie Veder came out and sang
Begin The Begin and Johnny Marr joined for Fall On Me. The show was fun outside of missing the open acts which were my main reason for going. I was able to sneak in a Bota Box wine which made everything more enjoyable.
