I can't NOT write about the amazing Regina Spektor concert at the Greek Theater on the 28th if I'm going to write about the alright Weezer meet-and-greet.

In July, I saw Regina Spektor at the El Rey. She was really good then, and I loved having to stand up the whole time. I have to say, though, she wasn't a particularly enthusiastic or gracious participant in the transaction. Aside from her standard "Thank you, thank you so much," after each song, she didn't talk much. She did say she hoped she wouldn't "fuck up" Dance Anthem of the 80's, which was kind of nice I guess.

Either way, even though the Greek was well-ventilated and required me to stay seated for a majority of the concert, the concert was a lot better than the one at the El Rey! She talked a lot more and was really nice-seeming. She also played four more songs than she did at the El Rey, which I appreciated. Silly Eye-Color Generalizations was one of the best moments of the concert, and I always love watching her sing Bobbing for Apples.

I really really want to see her again, but with a Weezer-style meet-and-greet where she agrees to be my best-friend and sing for me whenever I command it! That would be ideal.
