Blaze Bayley is no Bruce Dickinson. But what singer can sing as good as Dickenson? I can think of a handful. Yes, Bayley went into the fire and got burned. Robert Plant could have taken over for Dickinson and gotten just as much of a rude welcome. Dickinson is Iron Maiden, Iron Maiden is Dickenson.

With that said, the Blaze Bayley years are very under-rated and they feature some great songs, like this one. However, you can't help but wonder how much better it would have sounded if it was sung by Bruce Dickenson.

I see this song as Burton Cummings' ode to writer's block. When nothing's rhymes, and you're a songwriter, that equals disaster. However, while he's singing that "nothing rhymed" he's rhyming words with "rhymed". Hypocrite!

I'll admit that I'm a Chemical Brothers fan. However, this song annoys me to no end. Can the Brothers not think up more than 9 words? All we get are the same 9 words repeating over, and over, and over, and over again. And what's with that weird voice saying those 9 words? It's enough to make anyone dancing to this song feel a little gay. And what's with that "superstar DJs" line? I think the Brothers' ego is a little too big.

54-40 is one of Canada's most under-rated bands. This song is one of their later singles, but it's pretty classic sounding and is the usual catchiness 54-40 songs are.
