Dear lord, I loved this weekend.
Friday, I'd gone to sleep at 3am and woke back up at 6am trying to cram every piece of information I can for my OChem midterm at 8am. Got out of it feeling pretty good, and I blocked out the fact that feeling this good about a test means I did a terrible job. Whatever, I'm going to San Francisco.
By 3pm, I'd finished fixing up my car and getting all my stuff ready and I headed up the 5 towards SF. The ride up was pretty freaking intense, it was the week that the weather was freaking out in SoCal to the point that Irvine got a tornado warning. Plus I got rear ended by an Asian. My car's an ancient American made iron horse that it got out of the accident unscathed, but the Asian kid's beemer was busted. He looked about ready to cry through his braces, so I let it go and it was pretty funny how he couldn't believe it that I was letting him go. I just told him to get his car fixed and to forget about it. I probably should have told him to take a couple more driving classes. It's kind of shame wasting that car on eggheads.
So braving through the LA, Asian drivers, random SoCal snow, driving through the windy mountains next to trucks that looked about ready to topple over, my trusty car and I got to J's uncle's house. Then I get the call to meet her at Zen. Wtf, I'm in the same clothes I'd been wearing for 20+ hours, I'm in fit flops but she insisted I go. So I did, I'm kind of flabbergasted they let me in even this one guy I was dancing with asked me how I got in dressed the way I did. He assumed I knew the doorman and I'm like no, I've only been in NorCal for the past hour or so. Lol, it was a great night, we ended it at Denny's. Went to bed around 5am.
Woke up the next day at 10 and we went up to SF and checked out everything. Everything is especially beautiful after the storm it was a calm day and nice and cool. Saw a bunch of street performers. Watched a break dancing show and one guy looked like Bradley Cooper. Caught his eye a couple times lolololol
Walked around the wharf and ate local. I don't understand people that visit SF to eat at Burger King. Just like that one chick that went to NYC to eat at Applebees. Took a million pics of Alcatraz and the Golden State Bridge. J's uncle was awesome he knew everything about the SF
We got back to Palo Alto around 7. I was ready to crash out and I think J was too but everyone else wanted to go clubbing. I was having fun with the little cousins but they forced me to dress up for clubbing. It was kind of a shit club that we chose but oh well it was a long day and I just kind of wanted to hang out with the kids but I had fun hanging out with J. I'm glad to see her letting loose. But we really should have left the moment we saw a cowboy hat. Wished I'd stayed at the spot across the street but they didn't let J in. WTF. Ended the night at Denny's and got home around 5.
We left early at 9am because we wanted to check out the drive. So beautiful, we had to stop a couple times to take pics.
This weekend was wonderful, and to top it off I got an A on my midterm. Most of the kinds in class got a ~40 while I got a 73. And J's cousin made me the cutest bead bracelet ever. Ahh ^_^
