wheee! i went down to emo's and saw scratch acid last night, and holy shit they're still really fucking something. seeing rey washam up there and remembering big boysshows, david yow still david yow still david yow tho his yelps and squeals were rougher and less wonderously shrill as they were once, and he seemed a little more in control of himself for better and worse… and god damn the whole fucking band and how it's more than a sum of its extraordinary parts. and all the other oldsters like me turning out in force… ack ack ack ack ack it was as much fun as i've had in since i can't remember when in EVERY CONCEIVABLE WAY.
