i made a couple of mixes recently. one, that i did for myself was a spot of a dance mix. lots of big beats and deep grooves. it's the sort of thing i listen to in the morning so i can actually get moving. then, i really got attached to it and listened to it all the time. i really, really like. so much fun. i blame int on the ministry of sound annual 2006 (uk) comp. if you don't have it, you need to get it. as far as i'm concerned, disc one is worth cost of admission alone.

the other mix i did was a winter-esque type of mix that i sent out to people over the holidays. everyone was doing christmas music and i just wasn't feeling that. according to first hand account, this mix sounds really nice whilst driving on cold, snowy winter's evening, and is also rather calming.
