I'm bored, so I stole this from Gibson1976's journal. Hope he's not with the RIAA!

1. How did you get into 29? (Social Distortion)

I heard the diatribe on Live at the Roxy about how back in the day you couldn't just walk into the mall and "get your pussy pierced," and I pretty much knew I needed to listen further.

2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22? (Opeth)

Windowpane, off of Damnation. I wasn't yet into death metal, and was stunned by the distinction between this song and the material off of their other albums.

3. What’s your favorite lyric by 33?
(Faith No More)

"I started this
It's all for me
What's yours is mine and mine is mine
That's plain to see"

from Be Aggressive off of Angel Dust

4. What is your favorite album by 49? (Insomnium)

Still fairly new to them, to the point that I'm surprised they're in my top 50, so I'm not certain. Probably (at this point) Since the Day It All Came Down.

5. How many albums by 13 do you own? (Izzy Stradlin)

Seven, in a sense. One as Izzy Stradlin & the Juju Hounds, three hard copies, and three which were internet only releases. Of course, I have another handful, if you want to count his work with Guns N' Roses.

6. What is your favorite song by 50? (Slash's Snakepit)

I really dig Serial Killer, off of Ain't Life Grand.

7. Is there a song by 39 that makes you sad? (Deep Purple)

No, but I can't claim to have heard all (or even half!) of their material, yet.

8. What is your favorite album by 15? (Alice Cooper)

Love It to Death owns all!

9. What is your favorite song by 5? (Pink Floyd)

A nearly impossible question, but I'll go for a pair: Nobody Home, for stripped down Floyd, and Welcome to the Machine, for more traditional Floyd.

10. Is there a song by 6 that makes you happy? (Mötley Crüe)

Yeah...pretty much all of 'em. It's just a fun band!

11. What is your favorite album by 40? (Rattlesnake Remedy)

They've only got one, that I'm aware of...Magic Man!

12. What is your favorite song by 10? (Gov't Mule)

Kind of varies with mood. Among upbeat songs, I love Slackjaw Jezebel. Slower...probably I Shall Return.

13. What is a good memory you have involving 30? (The Black Crowes)

Just the music.

14. What is your favorite song by 38? (Metallica)

I've always loved Damage Inc..

15. Is there a song by 19 that makes you happy? (Black Label Society)

Stoned and Drunk makes me happy in a very metal kind of way.

16. How many times have you seen 25 live? (L.A. Guns)

None.

17. What is the first song you ever heard by 23? (Ozzy Osbourne)

Not sure. But Mama I'm Coming Home made a big impact on me when it hit.

18. What is your favorite album by 11? (Norther)

Mirror of Madness is killer!

19. Who is a favorite member of 1? (Guns N' Roses)

Axl Rose. The man takes a lot of shit, but he was a major creative force in the band and a legendary frontman.

20. Have you ever seen 14 live? (Motörhead)

Sadly, no. I'd like to, though.

21. What is a good memory involving 27? (Amon Amarth)

Can't say I have one, besides just listening to the music.

22. What is your favorite song by 16? (Beautiful Creatures)

Freedom, maybe, or 1 A.M..

23. What is the first song you ever heard by 47? (Acid Bath)

I'm fairly certain it was Graveflower.

24. What is your favorite album by 18? (Nazareth)

No Mean City, though the more famous Razamanaz and Hair of the Dog are very very strong albums.

25. What is your favorite song by 21? (Skid Row)

Hmm...it might be Quicksand Jesus, off of the phenomenally good Slave to the Grind which, MetallicaACDC, is better than anything Kiss has ever done.

26. What is the first song you ever heard by 26? (Gilby Clarke)

It was probably the first song off of Pawnshop Guitars, Cure Me...Or Kill Me....

27. What is your favorite album by 3? (Black Sabbath)

A nearly impossible question. I'll say the debut: Black Sabbath.

28. What is your favorite song by 2? (AC/DC)

Tough one. Powerage is my favorite Acca Dacca album, so I'll say either Riff Raff or Rock 'n' Roll Damnation.

29. What was the first song you ever heard by 32? (Pantera)

Mouth for War.

30. What is your favorite song by 8? (Led Zeppelin)

What a ridiculously hard question to answer. I refer back to a journal by MetallicaACDC when I said When the Levee Breaks, and I'll stand by that answer.

31. How many times have you seen 17 live? (Aerosmith)

Once, and it was a fantastic show! That was the year they added a second stage in the general admission section (lawn) of their shows, and they walked through the crowd to this extra stage and played...and not just the filler. Us poor folks got some great tracks! Dream On, Back in the Saddle...good stuff!

32. Is there a song by 44 that makes you happy? (The Scream)

Catch Me If You Can is a great way to finish off a criminally under-appreciated album!

33. What is your favorite album by 12? (Bullets and Octane)

I enjoy all of their albums, but I think In The Mouth Of The Young is hands above the rest.

34. What is the worst song by 45? (Children of Bodom)

Anything where they get too synth happy, which happens often.

35. What was the first song you ever heard by 34? (Stevie Ray Vaughan)

Probably Pride and Joy, but I'm not certain.

36. What is your favorite album by 48? (Death)

The Sound of Perseverance.

37. How many times have you seen 42 live? (Wintersun)

Never have, but I'm anxiously awaiting Time, like everyone else!

38. What is your favorite song by 36? (Faster Pussycat)

Not sure, but I've always thought Arizona Indian Doll had a cool vibe to it.

39. What was the first song you ever heard by 28? (Alice in Chains)

I'm almost certain it was Man in the Box, off of Facelift.

40. What is your favorite album by 7? (Thin Lizzy)

I'd like to say Bad Reputation or Black Rose, but Jailbreak is just sooo strong, beginning to end.

41. Is there a song by 31 that makes you happy? (Dark Tranquillity)

Not really. Death metal isn't happy music.

42. What is your favorite album by 41? (Velvet Revolver)

They have two...they're both good for what's currently in the mainstream, but very mediocre for the band members' talents. I refuse to dub either as a "favorite."

43. What is your favorite song by 24? (Nine Inch Nails)

Wish blew me away when I first heard it, though I also enjoy the Dubya bashing in Capital G.

44. What is a good memory you have involving 46? (Duff McKagan)

He was in my favorite band of all time...so there are too many to list, really.

45. What is your favorite song by 35? (Kill Cheerleader)

Sell Your Soul is a pretty cool album opener.

46. Is there a song by 9 that makes you happy? (Buckcherry)

Yeah. They play rock n' roll. So, most of the songs make me happy.

47. What is your favorite album by 4? (Iron Maiden)

Tough question, but Aces High is the track that totally won me over to Maiden.

48. Who is a favorite member of 37?
(Mastodon)

No clue.

49. What is the first song you ever heard by 43? (Nevermore)

I'm honestly not sure.

50. How many albums do you own by 20?
(Bathory)

Just two, so far: Blood Fire Death and Hammerheart.

He never gets the credit he deserves. [quote]25. What is your favorite song by 21? For the 649th time, KISS NEED TO BE HEARD LIVE!! Have you not read my past two journals? [quote]28. What is your favorite song by 2? (AC/DC) Tough one. You mentioned me by name twice... didn't know you held me in such high regard, Scott ;)
