Sorry, I saw Japan in your list and my eyes flooded. I don't care whatever else you've seen, I'm already very sad and feeling sorry for myself. I wish I'd seen them, too. :' ( What?? Philip Glass as well?? I want your memories. That's a great list already.

I'm very proud;-) I guess it covers around 25 years - now that's scary! Japan were great. It was their last ever tour, right at their peak I guess. So many David Sylvian look-a-likes! Are you still a big fan then? I sorta rediscovered them through Right now I can't stop playing Bamboo Houses. You know that one?

Forgot to mention Philip Glass. I saw him at the Royal Festival Hall performing the world premier of his score for Jean Cocteau's version of Beauty and the Beast (La Belle et la Bete), which he made in 1946. It was amazing. They ran the movie on the back screen on the stage and Mr Glass was conducting around 3 synth players and 3 opera-standard singers. Wow..... I need to get more Philip Glass stuff. I like it a lot.

I'm sure there will be more sudden recalls..... Ibrahim Ferrer of Buena Vista Social Club fame. Royal Albert Hall 2004 (?) My memory is getting bad with age.....

I know Jean Cocteau and La Belle et la Bete. Jean Cocteau is a hero of mine, and to see that film with Philip Glass as well!! *sobs* Yes, of course I know Bamboo Houses, and Ryuichi Sakamoto. I kind of lost touch with David Sylvian during the late 90s, until he released 'Blemish' and I heard him interviewed on the radio. I was a huuuuuuuge Japan fan! In fact, I think Quiet Life was the first album I bought. You've been to some amazing gigs. So what's with Lily Allen?? :P

Lily Allen?? What about her....??! Apparantly she's supporting the scissor sisters, who I'm going to see tomorrow night at Wembley Arena. I'm not a big fan though....
