1. Take your top ten artists and get their ‘emo rating’. If you look on the artist page and then click "View all user tags" you can see how many times they’ve been tagged "Emo":

1) Bif Naked: 2
2) Tsunami Bomb: 18
3) Joydrop: 1
4) Kill Hannah: 23
5) Red Hot Chili Peppers: 63
6) Alkaline Trio: 450 (jesus…)
7) The Ataris: 283
8) Angels & Airwaves: 44

2. Add them all together and divide by 10 to get the average:

114.1

3. Then divide that by the average of the top ten emo artists, which is: 977.6 (as of now)

0.116

4. Multiply your result by 100 to get a percentage.

11.6% emo

I think everything is classed as emo these days anyway…
