I've been a music enthusiast for 40 years. It all started with a transistor AM radio in the early 1970's. Imagine that. I recorded favorite songs on a portable cassette recorder with a handheld microphone. This was long before the boombox or Walkman. The quality was terrible, and the method seems quaint, but it worked.
My artist list is eclectic, mostly because I've gone through a lot of musical phases, and I refuse to abandon old interests. My tastes tend toward the arty -- I've had a lifelong love for progressive rock -- but I quickly grow bored with any particular genre.
