I've been on last.fm for about two months, and had been very happy with it. Until this past Tuesday.

I'm very disappointed that the management of last.fm decided not to participate in the Day of Silence to protest the excessive royalty rates that are being imposed on Internet radio feed that wish to stream to US listeners.

I see some others have left last.fm in protest. I haven't gone that far, at least not yet, but I'm much more disenchanted with last.fm now than I had been before Tuesday. And I hadn't really checked out Pandora (who did silence their streams) before, but I certainly will be now.
