Happened today, 8/28 (the day I saw the first Washington Nationals no-hitter!) At 1pm, the song was Sylvan Esso's Uncatena, a band whose 10-track debut album is def high up on my list of best albums of 2014 (i also saw them live in this period and they contributed 400 plays to this count)
We owe these 100K to four amazing female artists who all had huge albums during this timeframe: Sia, Jenny Lewis, Lily Allen, and most recently (who helped push us here in the last week) LIGHTS. A new single from Taylor Swift, who is almost certainly to reign in the new 100K with her new album due out in October, helped to the tune of over 230 plays. New albums from Jason Mraz, Bleachers, and Maroon 5 also helped.

It took 88 days to accumulate these 100K. Here's to a quarter-million!
