Über mich

Four months ago I would only ever order plain coffee from a little mom and pop shop. . . these days I walk into Starbucks and say "venti soy chai" as if I belong. Four months ago I was ready to move across the planet . . . these days I am looking for an apartment a couple of towns over from where I grew up. Four months ago I walked to the majority of places I wanted to go. . . now I drive a midsize SUV. I have not sold my soul to anyone. I have just been learning that living in suburban america is not necessarily the lesser calling I thought it was, and I need to stop the pride in stride. Still makes me nauseous sometimes though.


But lets be honest. . . suburbia still sucks. . .
