So, I haven't written one of these for a while, so thought I'd hit it up with some thoughts/questions.

I tend to get a lot of stuff, so I'm just gonna limit it to a few.

The Abominable Iron Sloth's self titled album is excellent, really really good. I was trying to look for some more bands in a similar vein to them, without going for the obvious link towards stuff like Mastodon. Any recommendations will be much appreciated.

A Line Of Deathless Kings's is pretty stellar, easily my favourite doom artist out there. Any others that you think challenge MDB for that crown? If so, let me know. But yeah, highly recommend their new album, though it isn't as good as The Angel And The Dark River

I finally managed to turn my ear to some Boris, and got Pink and Akuma No Uta, both of which where pretty good. Anything in a similar vein worth a look?

Now, going back a little bit to stuff I listen to that I've had for a while, I was wondering where the best place (band wise) would be to go if I'm a big fan of Depeche Mode? Any other bands that do that dark-synthy style?

Oh, and I'll just randomly recommend Amplifier, as they need more pimping. Amplifier was awesome, and Insider is pretty good too. Check them out.
