Hi lazyhour! Great musical taste! I need to check out some of the artists in your library. I'm curious to know what you would think of my friends' band, MANKIND: . Cheers from Sweden

That red bar indicates awesomeness. Love Hong Kong In The 60s! "Softly Sung" is on my day-to-day playlist.

hi, there actually is a book burning monument in berlin, which i wasn’t aware of until listening to a radio feature on monuments in berlin. the underground “bibliothek” memorial is located in the center of berlin on bebelplatz (next to state opera and unter den linden boulevard), and looks like this at night: []

hi neighbour. enjoyed the berlin pics on flickr quite a lot, but what's up with the "book-burning monument"? the sculpture was part of the "walk of ideas", an outdoor exhibition from "the land of ideas" during the world cup event. so it's actually more about celebrating famous writers and modern book printing rather than burning books (and if it was, there would have been different names on it as well - but that's probably too far in the detail section ;)) i hope your trip to berlin was fun. have a nice weekend!

Hey Lazen! How's things? Me? I'm well! I met musical miracleworker Chris Cohen a few weeks ago! He was v. nice! We talked about Manatees but then our conversation was cut short by a maniac who blundered over and steered the conversation round to "the reason we attacked Iraq!" Have you got any hot musical tips for me? I've been getting back into computer games after an absence of around four years and previous to that I was commuting between Wales and Manchester every day for TWO MONTHS! So, in the process I think I've managed to lose touch with most of what's shakin'. Groo! Not long to go for new records by Sterie ol' Ab and Fiery Furnace, though! You can always depend on those guys!
