Yeah I saw them at a festival this year. Was cool, but my legs were killing from standing around and I was just chillin' on the grass for them. The performance was ace, and can only be better at BDO since Maynard is there for Passenger... Crystal Castles, I'll give them a go, it seems a bit bleepy bleepy weirdy indie for me though.

Aww yeah I forgot the 'Tones were there, they're fucking stunning live. Rammstein too, you can't miss. best band I've seen, so much pyro. I've never got into Crystal Castles tbh, I've tried, but not my thing at all. Yeah I'll check them out after the new BMTH album, what's their best work?

Nothing quite compares to having a massive blow up fat woman onstage haha. WK is a god, he's basically the reason I'm going to BDO. I've never reallt listened to ambient music, BoC a good starting point then?

Yeah if you do listen to SunnO)) try Monolith and dimensions and remember try and not to focus and look for some kind of melody lol. If you are interested in some classic doom similar in the vein of Black Sabbath try Count Raven or Saint Vitus. Oh yeah i see you like The White Stripes you should also try out The Band of Skulls and The Black Keys. I wouldn't mind a rec from you but i'm not sure what genre i'd ask for lol.

Californication? you mean that show with that fella from x-files? I'm currently watching some music documentaries "Such hawks and such Hounds" Stoner/doom doco and the other "Until the light takes" Black metal doco. They're both pretty fucking rad if you wanna hear some interviews straight from the mouths of the guys who play the stuff. Because of it, believe it or not Sunn O))) seems to sound better after knowing abit more about them.

AC/DC are awesome live even if they're hit and miss on record, and with Axl Rose, massive is the most important word there. WK loves partying more than you ever could, you've got to give him that xD Boards of Canada, I'll give them a listen. Yeah I live in the UK, but I'm moving down to New Zealand at the end of the year, and doing a couple fests (Big Day Out in Auckland, Soundwave in Sydney and No Sleep Til in Auckland). Yeah man it's been safe, take care and talk soon bro.

Haha, that last.fm is totally me. I'll peruse the charts there for stuff I may like. I put Zeppelin next to bands like AC/DC, Guns n Roses and stuff. It's just good time rock n roll awesomeness. The ultimate artist that makes me happy is Andrew WK though. Pure god. Yeah man, check Cancer Bats, their latest, "Bears Mayors Scraps and Bones" is my album of the year. I see you live in Aussieland. Going to Soundwave?

Yeah, well I think I've heard a bit of them. The other interesting deathcore band out there are Winds of Plague, they're adding black metal ambience into their beatdowns, one of them has bells in iirc, it's ace. Enjoy the Masters album dude, and I'm glad you're really digging Baroness.. Zeppelin are beastly, they make me want to grow long hair and take drugs :p. Bats are ace, if you like Every Time I Die/Gallows-esque stuff you should enjoy.

You ought to check it out, it's an excellent melodic hardcore album, their song GM Vincent & I should be a nice taster. War From a Harlots Mouth, I think I've heard them. Do they have a song with a machine gun in the beatdown? Queued up all those Stripes songs man, thanks. And good to hear you liked Baroness! Zeppelin are ace, don't listen to them so much these days, but when I stick 'em they're always reliable. Another recommendation, something on the hardcore side, is Cancer Bats. Rock n rolly, sludgey hardcore, but also catchy as hell.

New CBK record is ace I reckon, if you've not heard it give it a go. And I like a nice breakdown, but so many bands just have 1 dimension, that dimension being a breakdown. Man I'll be checking out all those bands, got 'em queued up on teh spotify, and I discovered a couple are already on a Deathwish sampler I downloaded a while back anyway. Also, back to The White Stripes, thanks for recommending, I'm liking 'em. Mainly the heavier songs tbh, Girl You Have No Faith In Medicine is great, and Icky Thump is beast, very Zeppelin. Any idea what other songs of theirs I'd like based on that?

Yeah I like some more interesting hardcore, recently I've digged Comeback Kid in that field. For the 'MY BROTHERS AND MY CREW' shit as long as you've got Sick of It All, Madball, Blood For Blood, maybe a couple more, you're sorted. Thanks for those recommendations, I'm listening to an album but after that I'll thrash them out. Heard of Carpathian before, this is a good opportunity to check 'em. I'd strongly recommend Masters of Reality, they're the same scene as Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss and all that jazz. Check out their songs Kill the King, The Eyes of Texas and John Brown, all from their exceptional debut album. All very different songs, so if you don't like one listen to the others.

Hardcore fans are either holier than thou dudes with Black Flag patches or emo kids. Or they're normal people, like you or I. Fave hardcore bands? May be able to pick up a couple good bands from you. Ahh that's great, listen to their album 'Red Album', especially the song Wanderlust. If you like that all, I can give ya some more stuff.

I love them. You should definitely check their self-titled album, if you haven't already.
