Well, it's been one year today that I signed up for last.fm, and now have nearly 11,000 songs listed under my belt. Now seems like a good time to reflect!

When I signed up for this, I didn't know what to expect, and had no idea where I thought my charts were going to go. I had no idea "Unwritten" and "Buttons" were going to be my top songs.

I did expect Christina Aguilera to be one of my top played, especially after the majesty of Back To Basics was released.

(My 10,000th song played was Makes Me Wanna Pray).

But when I got into artists like Something Corporate, Kylie Minogue, and Madonna (especially via Confessions On A Dance Floor, I really got into them, making them top players.

It's interesting to see the random single tracks by random artists that got a lot of play. Like Black Horse and a Cherry Tree, which is fun as hell to sing (thank you, American Idol), so that's up there, though I think I'm going to end up getting the whole album. Other random ones that stand out are Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying (Do Your Part To Save The Scene And Stop Going To Shows) and Lover I Don't Have To Love, considering my taste in music (aka shitty pop). The first one is like the only song I listen to off of that album, it's got a chord progression I like. As for the Bright Eyes one . . . it's pretty wrist-slitty, but it's one of the better of them.

As of recently, my friend turned me on to Girl Talk. I got a copy of Night Ripper, and I can't even say how awesome it is. A whole album of SERIOUSLY well down mash-ups? I constantly check Wikipedia to see which new songs people can pick out and have put up.

And, I don't know why, but I really like Pedestal, which is embarassing, because it's Fergie, and because London Bridge sucks so bad. Whatever. I like it.

Thaaaaaaat's about it. I think I'll be listening to more music on my computer when I get the plug for my speakers sent, which I left at home.
