    13. Jul. 2010, 13:04

I bit my tongue in the awkward conversation.
    I don't know why.
I met you once and I'd fallen for your notions.
    I don't know why.
Do you believe that there's treasures in the ocean
    Did I say I'm just a girl?

One kiss from you and I'm drunk up on your potion.
That big old smile is all you wore.
Boy you make me want to feel,
    Things I've never felt before.
    Did I say I'm just a girl,
You can hold me to that.

Wed 26 Nov – Bloc Party, Van She
The night started off quite slow with Van She opening the set. However, much to my delight, they played tunes that everyone were familiar with such as Kelly and Changes which had the audience engaged for most of the time. Overall, Van She did an okay job at keeping the audience sane for the first 45 minutes.

Bloc Party opened with Intimacy highlight One Month Off that kickstarted to an amazing night filled with old and new Bloc Party mashed up perfectly together.

Frontman Kele was great at communicating with the audience and surprised me at how he was able to make such a large venue like the Hordern, an intimate and wonderful place to view such a band. The audience was very much mesmerized with the superb lighting that went so well with the music. Bloc Party also did an outstanding job with the wicked lasers that went off during Flux.

One negative aspect, however, was some of the audience's dumbass behavior. These so called 'fans' literally pushed everyone aside so that they could have their own little dancefloor. It was stupid and unnecessary but thankfully, it did not affect my night of enjoying the music of Bloc Party.

    God bless these boys
