Über mich

....I have a disdain for the mundane....a quote by me

A man born in America, but is unlike most in his country....born in the South, and probably should have been born on the West Coast. Could have been Seattle if I'd have been born just a few years earlier. Damnit Mom and Dad. LOL.

...........................................................................
Yeah, it's fine
We'll walk down the line
Leave our rain, a cold
Trade for warm sunshine
You my friend
I will defend
And if we change, well I
Love you anyway

I LOVE these lyrics from Alice in Chains.
...........................................................................

I am:
An Average, Ordinary, guy. I am also Bald, a Nerdy Geek, Father and Husband, I was a Computer Science and Psychology major at University/College. Hardcore manchild. Other descriptors: Information Junkie, Eccentric and different (or weirdo!!!), Thinker, Troubled, Tinkerer, Lover of Politics, Altruist, Enigma, FIERCE Competitor, Sports junkie, Car nut, Philosopher, Hopeful Optimist, Cynic, Idealist, Paradox finder, Enlightened, Negative Entropy Attraction Magnet, Charismatic(or so I am told), Super friendly, Blessed, Sickly, Tormented, Obscenely Chemically dependent, Grossly misunderstood, Guardian Angel to some of my closest friends and loved ones....Rain lover, Anime nerd, Video game nerd, Movie buff, Horror aficionado, Sci-Fi freak, Computer dude by trade, Science lover, Pen and Paper RPG nut, Scenery/Ambiance appreciator. Yet, I am fit yet sickly with youthful exuberance in places like mental age and physical capabilities, which are further oxymoronic details about how I am constructed overall. I am a paradox waiting to be consumed....just like in Mage: The Ascension.

On top of this I am also a Personal liberty & rights advocate, Texan, and an obvious devout music lover. I love debating things. I love to hear why others think or feel the way they do. I am very much my own person, yet I am always discovering who I really am, even at my age. I've always been the polar opposite of sheep, or people that do what's the most popular because some with more charisma than them leads them to believe that's what they should be doing. I am not anti-popular, but most trends do not grab me. Some mainstream music does, but it's rare. I follow the beat of my own drum. I am always humming something or tapping to music even if just in my head. Probably the least judgmental guy you'll ever speak with. Friend to all. If you wanna drop me a line, you can do so at enigma5@protonmail.ch.

What Urban Dictionary says about my 1st name..in quotes..

"An Irish name meaning "little king". A person worthy of the name Ryan is indeed a person of true royalty. A handsome gentleman with a charming smile. Has the greatest respect for life and people, especially women. A great sense of humor, easy going and modest. An even greater sense of adventure. But has been known to fall to grips of an adrenaline lust, often risking himself for a thrill seek.
A person that believes in all people, until they have proven otherwise, and even then might still believe in you. His mind is amazing, slightly insane but pure genius, the only force stronger is his heart. To be loved by, is to be… Truly... Loved.
Loves a challenge, but often doesn’t often accept the reward. Gives his heart and soul to the people he cares for. He is either on top of the world smiling ear to ear or underneath it trying to lift still offering an occasional smirk.
He can be explosive so don’t shake too much. But otherwise can truly accomplish anything.
Synonymous with Perfection…. Perfection is defined by its flaws.
A great Leader, consider him yours." (A great description of me! When I am on, I am on, personality-wise. When I am, you best watch out. The thing is, I do need to learn humility a tad more, and to keep my mouth close a LOT more often. As my father says: "Sit back, observe, and apply you talents where you can while remaining humble." He's so right, and this nugget of recent wisdom is a reminder that I'll never stop learning from him. Dad, I just can't help (or resist) myself when others value my insight and especially when others' approaches to ways of doing this is so antiquated, or backwards. I wrote that just now, dad, because I know you read this page every so often. Always remember: I love you.)

Ascendant(Rising) : Aries
Chinese Zodiac : Snake

Rising Signis in07 DegreesPisces
Very sensitive to your surroundings, other people's feelings become your feelings. Try to avoid negative people because your tendency to empathize with them will make you negative also. An idealist, you must believe in something beyond your normal everyday existence. A dreamer, you like to escape to a world of your own creation. As such, you are known for the vividness of your imagination and should try to share your inner visions with others. Very self-sacrificial by nature, beware of others becoming overly dependent on you or vice versa. Allow yourself to live for yourself once in a while -- you deserve it. Don't be so envious of those who are more aggressive than you -- your gentle charity and true humility are indeed wonderful gifts. on the tenth house cusp (MIDHEAVEN).

Sun is in06 DegreesPisces.
Extremely sensitive and emotional, you absorb the emotions of others (whether positive or negative) like a sponge. Emotionally vulnerable, you are easily upset and tend to cry readily. You are at your best when you can structure your environment in such a way that you are surrounded by positive, upbeat people. You are very helpful and understanding of the needs of others. Indeed, at times this can be a disadvantage, because you can be a sucker for anyone who needs help. Shy, dreamy, romantic in nature, you delight in retreating into your private fantasy world. Just be careful that you do not get lost in it! Trust your intuitions -- you may be quite psychic.

Moon is in00 DegreesGemini.
Restless in the extreme, you are easily bored because of your short attention span. Your emotions change rapidly and you love to talk about your feelings. Generally, you have good judgment -- your intellect controls your emotions and you do not overreact emotionally to things. A good jack-of-all-trades, you have many- sided interests and enjoy reasoning things through. With your mental agility and need for physical mobility, you are attracted to traveling and learning about other peoples and cultures. You have vivid powers of emotional self-expression - - you can be a nonstop talker. You love to share your ideas with anyone who will listen.

Mercury is in21 DegreesAquarius.
You tend to be very opinionated -- you have strongly felt notions about things and are quite vocal about expressing and defending them. Yet you are also an original thinker -- you enjoy shocking others with your offbeat, original thoughts. You appreciate and need mental and intellectual stimulation. Your judgment is usually fair and impartial -- you can be a good critic because you can remain objective and unemotional about most things.

Venus is in18 DegreesAries.
You are a very affectionate person but you hate to be tied down. You are more than willing to be the aggressor in initiating new relationships. Indeed, once you have set your sights on someone, you tend to pursue him or her ardently and passionately. But you do demand your own way in a relationship. Try to give in to your partner's needs and desires once in a while.

Mars is in12 DegreesAquarius.
Your ideas and opinions are usually inventive and original, but sometimes they are merely eccentric and offbeat. You are altruistic -- you will work hard for the attainment of group goals, as long as they meet your high standards. You tend to resent traditional authority figures because you think that your ideas are better thought out and more valuable than theirs. Very idealistic, you are a rebel WITH a cause!

Jupiter is in23 DegreesTaurus.
Growth only occurs for you after you have found a stable lifestyle and a dependable, protective and secure environment. You are at your best when those around you provide you with a great deal of affection and support. When you feel insecure or threatened, you tend to become possessive and grasping and self- indulgent. You are an inveterate collector with an expensive preference for all the good things that life has to offer.

Saturn is in11 DegreesLeo.
Extremely self-reliant, you set very high standards of conduct and decorum for yourself, and you expect others with whom you associate to be that way, too. It is important that you had a strong father figure or role model early in life to mold your life course and direction. When you feel that those around you are unworthy or behaving badly, you withdraw, preferring solitude rather than associating with those who might besmirch your reputation.

Uranus is in11 DegreesScorpio.
You, and your peer group, demand to confront life at its deepest and most meaningful levels. Very compulsive and obsessive in your approach to everything, you will avoid anything that is casual or superficial, especially when it comes to relationships. You will seek out and explore new methods of healing as well as different ways to deal with deep-seated emotional problems.

Neptune is in16 DegreesSagittarius.
You, and your entire generation, are heavily involved in investigating and idealizing foreign and exotic intellectual systems and religious philosophies. The most extreme ideals will be pursued with gusto. You will be at the forefront of humanitarian attempts to improve the lot of those who are in need of assistance. You will be comfortable with the concept of the "global village."

Pluto is in13 DegreesLibra.
For your entire generation, this is a time of radical changes in society's attitude toward marriage and interpersonal relationships. There is a general fear and awe at the power inherent in making emotional or contractual commitments -- they will not be entered into lightly.

N. Node is in25 DegreesLibra.
You find it very difficult to be comfortable being alone -- you would much prefer to be in an environment where many people are working together toward common goals. Your charming and sincere approach to others assures your popularity -- you have the gift of being able to ease tensions just by your mere presence. You're the perfect "team player" willing to sacrifice your own importance so that the group goal can be accomplished. Be careful, however, not to become overly dependent on your interactions with others -- you have personal private needs that should not be neglected.

I identify in MBTI type as ENxP (83, 83, 58, 95). Feel alone, due to not many people being able to grasp my personality. Can be open, warm and very chatty or cold, distant and egocentric with a "you are wrong" attitude. Educated and intellectual, attributed to my Aquarius Mars, Aries Ascendant, Gemini Moon and Cusp Aquarius. That's not arrogance talking, it's merely fact.

The ENTP way::: Follow the path of the unsafe, independent thinker. Expose your ideas to the dangers of controversy. Speak your mind and fear less the label of 'crack-pot' than the stigma of conformity. And on issues that seem important to you, stand up and be counted at any cost.....Thomas J. Watson

Alignment:
True Neutral- A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment when it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction..... (So true (of me), although I'd argue that I am never "apathetic" per-se in this definition, I am rather ambivalent at times, however. I'd be more predisposed to Good over evil, if I chose sides. The thing is, I DO believe that humans are more good than evil(See my Comic quotes below) regardless of how mainstream news and word of mouth seems to place evil in the forefront of reporting; much to my chagrin. I have no control over this of course, other than to dispel it when given chance and to reference good deeds when I have discussions with people in an intellectual and/or emotional capacity. That said, I am quite the misanthrope, based in my life-so-far experiences. I do not "believe" in humanity, and contrarian to how much I write here, despise society and 95% of our human brothers and sisters.)

Quotes.....You can see in great detail why my MBTI is almost neutral in some regards by quotes that move and inspire me. The Aquarian intellect is also rampant here, and the Pisces heart and ability to feel is as well. I am a cusps cusp. Bi-Polar with obscene dual personalities. Be it no surprise then that this is why I chose (to study in higher education) intellectual arts as well as one that combines melding with personalities with a dash of curiosity in the form of Psychology.

Here we go:

But 1st, a song that lyrically everyone that struggles should read. I shortened it somewhat....I've been there, and not too long ago.

VAN HALEN - Right Now (Sammy Hagar sung)
------------
"Don't wanna wait 'til tomorrow
Why put it off another day?
One by one, little problems
Build up and stand in our way, oh
One step ahead, one step behind it
Now ya gotta run to get even
Make future plans, I'll dream about yesterday, hey
Come on turn, turn this thing around
Hey! It's your tomorrow
(Right now)
Come on, it's everything
(Right now)
Catch your magic moment
Do it right here and now
It means everything"

Bad mistakes make good stories....unknown author ... (Clarification: Contempt for and of lack of external stimuli and the waving off of what is helpful advise to most. Lack of it has caused me to seek stimuli in other places, and given my health concerns caused rampant drug use since it had the duality of making me less sick and stimulated me simultaneously. To anyone reading this, find help if this is you. It'e truly lonely to be dismissed from being misunderstood and physically sickly at the same time. Couple that with hereditary depression and you have a perfect storm for drug misuse potential.)

As somewhat an outsider, I have contradicting views on "The Christian Church" from the eyes of an American observer. On one hand, I find the "Corporation of the Church" to be abhorrent and utterly despicable in the preying on "believers" using the vehicle instrument of fear to give to their denominations cause. I am educated in the facts that each denomination has a reporting body the must answer to, so I wonder just how much altruism and sincerity is exercised in the "donations and tithing" to the "Church." Transparency of each and every churches finances would go a little further to convince me of said altruism and sincerity, but when these churches have "parsonages " to freely provide for every minister/preacher/priest, one must question where this money goes. On the other hand, I do see "good" in some of these churches. I see community, camaraderie and the joining of a ideals in group form; albeit in the vein of somewhat sensational, outlandish and sometime dangerous viewpoints and beliefs......Me

I'm not very good at singing songs, but here is a try.

If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch
You must first invent the universe

Space is filled with a network of wormholes
You might emerge somewhere else in space
Some when-else in time

The sky calls to us
If we do not destroy ourselves
We will one day venture to the stars

A still more glorious dawn awaits
Not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise
A morning filled with 400 billion suns
The rising of the Milky Way

The cosmos is full beyond measure of elegant truths
Of exquisite interrelationships
Of the awesome machinery of nature

I believe our future depends powerfully
On how well we understand this cosmos
In which we float like a mote of dust
In the morning sky

But the brain does much more than just recollect
It inter-compares, it synthesizes, it analyzes
it generates abstractions

The simplest thought like the concept of the number one
Has an elaborate logical underpinning
The brain has its own language
For testing the structure and consistency of the world

A still more glorious dawn awaits
Not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise
A morning filled with 400 billion suns
The rising of the Milky Way

The sky calls to us
If we do not destroy ourselves
We will one day venture to the stars

For thousands of years
People have wondered about the universe
Did it stretch out forever
Or was there a limit

From the Big Bang to black holes
From dark matter to a possible big crunch
Our image of the universe today
Is full of strange sounding ideas

How lucky we are to live in this time
The first moment in human history
When we are in fact visiting other worlds

A still more glorious dawn awaits
Not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise
A morning filled with 400 billion suns
The rising of the Milky Way

A still more glorious dawn awaits
Not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise
A morning filled with 400 billion suns
The rising of the Milky Way

The surface of the Earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean
Recently we've waded a little way out
And the water seems inviting ....Carl Sagan mostly, with Stephen Hawking on A Glorious Dawn by Colorpulse :))

"Music, this music in particular, is indeed one of the Guardian Angels that help us to get back up one more time and face the challenges and opportunities that come our way. Some are of our own choosing, some are inspired by others, some might be considered an obstacle to the paths that we have chosen to explore. But you are not alone. Others have come before you and have left knowledge and inspiration that guides us and lightens our individual load. You, too, will leave behind something of value for those who follow. Make your choices carefully and don't squander the opportunities or be blinded by the cynicism that erodes our confidence and dampens our spirit to continue. Dreams and hope keep us alive and eager to rise against whatever negative occurrence discourages us. You are not alone. Never will be. You are a vital part of THE BIG PICTURE - the puzzle that we piece together one step at a time. And you just may be someone else's Guardian Angel..."
