Über mich

Indie rock singer/songwriter Joseph Ady was born in New York, on August 15th, 1980. When in came time to learn music in elementary school, Joseph chose to join Chorus. He performed his first vocal solo in front of three hundred people, but he didn't know that he would be singing for the rest of his life until much later. It was there that he picked up his vocal skills, but they would lie dormant until 1999. In 1999, Ady picked up a 30 dollar toys r' us guitar and played it. Having no instruction whatsoever, he attempted to play this guitar and began teaching himself how to play. Printing out scales and learning from the internet proved to be a powerful tool to Ady and his musical skills quickly excelled. Ady played with a band for the next 4 years, and then decided to go solo. Hosting an open mic for well over a year and playing coffee houses all over Long Island turned Ady into what he is today, an innovating and original performer.
