Wait, let me get this straight. Because I have said I liked one particular composer and not mentioned one other particular composer - I don't "know much about film music"? What about the 30 other composers I have mentioned e.g. Morricone, Zimmer, Horner, Elfman and Williams? Are they ruddy? Seriously man, get off your high horse.

This was only an example. There's many other lacks and many music doesn't merit be on such list. But it's of course only your opinion so I don't want to tamper in it, but I only writed that there's for my too many lacks and cross-purposes. And it's only my opinion too. By the way I think that none list can justly and fully accommodate all of the best of film music.

I am really struggling to understand what you are saying, mate. "Lacks and cross-purposes"? And by the way you have actually "tampered in" my opinion by insulting my taste in film music. Is there really a problem with me picking a rough top 30 of some of my favourite compositions and then posting it here? Is that not the point of having a journal page on last.fm? To express an opinion? Yes, I may have forgotten a few but thats why there is only 34 - not 1034! I guess I'm just not as cultured as you.

So sorry, but I had a, er, bad day. And I reacted too nervous. I wanted only get over smattering things that in my(!) opinion would be better for such a Top, but my words were too swingeing and impolite. And if that offent you - sorry, I didn't want it. And I didn't want to tamper in your opinion, it was all writed too fast and without thinking. So sorry, hope it's past.

Finally someone appreciates the Fly Away Home score. It's absolutely fantastic, i never gonna understand, how it never got released properly.

It takes me away whenever I listen to it. The lack of official release is ridiculous. I bought a 10th anniversary edition on ebay - coming from somewhere in Europe. Whether it is legit or not I don't know but the artwork and sound quality of the CD is excellent. It has every single piece of music from the film. Cost me $40 or $50 but I don't regret it at all.
