Oh yeah I love binging on albums, tell me about it haha. Well that's a pretty comprehensive list to go on, thanks for drawing that up. I'll download it later tonight. Winter albums are my absolute favourite, which is why December always gets an overdose of post-rock haha. And I love the contrast/switching it up between long and clearly over-indulgently long post-rock and some nice fun electronic music :D Tut tut. That hardly counts as an album. An anthem would be something like, The Beatle's 'All You Need Is Love.' No just kidding. That song annoys the shit out of me :D

...I'll just pretend to disregard your totally inappropriate use of the word 'Anthem'. -.- If you ever wanna get into some new electronic artists, I really recommend http://www.stereodose.com. That site has helped me discover some amazinggg electronic music I'd never ever have heard of otherwise. It's fantastic, just go there already like. Now I'm curious about Emancipator, which would be a good album to start with?

Bwahahaha, awesome! Oh, definitely a victory :P But yeah, I accidentally stumbled across that song and I liked it enough to give the album a try (disregarding my earlier distaste for Arctic Monkeys). The album turned out flawless from start to finish, so I got curious and gave a listen to their earlier stuff, just in case I'd been missing something. Nope. Their earlier stuff isn't great really, just your typical alt rock of the boring common variety. So this album was really something of a surprise. Stoked to know that you're into Blackmill! Let me know if you know any more artists like him cause I'd love to listen to more of that stuff. If The 1975 are anything like the current Arctic Monkeys I'd love to give them a listen. Catchy is always good!

Aaa almost forgot, you should really check out Blackmill, it's dubstep with great bass and melody/piano thrown in. It's a nice combo I think (Spirit of Life is a nice song). And Pachelbel is the man! I actually stumbled on an artist on a streaming website who did an electronic version of 'Canon', it sounded amazing. Shame i can't recollect the name though. There should be more electronic covers of classical music, it makes for some really interesting listens haha. Justice are another one I'd suggest, maybe you're already familiar since they're not exactly underground, but they have some good electronica. I am so into Arctic Monkeys right now. Don't blame you for not being a fan, I wasn't either. But AM, their newest album is completely different than previous ones. think it's one of the best albums this year. Some cool basslines, great guitars and not at all annoying like what a lot of similar bands are like. Maybe give this a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpOSxM0rNPM

You like Quantic? Haha awesome, he's so massively underrated in my opinion. Time is such a fantastic song! My favourite is The 5th Exotic. It's so unbelievably good, like wow. Haha ADTR and Keane are always good listens, Hopes and Fears is a perfect little album, I'll never tire of it. Sleigh Bells are really fun to listen to. Never heard Emancipator or Saltillo, but I see they're trip hop, they probably exactly the kind of music I like, so I'll give them a listen. XXYYXX is another one, great downtempo and chill electronic. Dunno if you listen to the XX, almost everything they make is great. Intro is obviously my favourite song off them. Miley and her early days...let's not go there. -_- I mean if the Beatles made a recording of a unicorn pooping out a dinosaur while nails scraped chalkboards in the background, it'd probably still sound better than 7 Things and shit. :P

Dang it, this album was Eminem's follow-up to his Marshall Mathers LP (my favourite of his, and the best album his ever done, in my opinion). To be honest i expected a bit more, being a sequel and all, but from what i've heard so far i'm finding it a bit meh :( The first one you had stuff like Kim and Stan. This one however is the Love the Way You like bullshit :( Haha admittedly I haven't listened to the Beatles proper for almost a couple of years now, but I don't think they're awful or anything. I do enjoy their songs now and then. Admittedly I went through a period where I listened to nothing but Buckethead, almost exclusively; that's where so many of the plays are from haha. So I was pretty much off other bands for a while. But recent favourites/discoveries are: Quantic, The XX (both electronic, downtempo), Marble Sounds (minimal but ambient lo-fi), too many post rock bands to mention, Sleigh Bells (electronic/noise), the Half Life 2 soundtrack (omg), lots of 80s pop.AND PACHELBEL!

Yeah I know you were kidding about Miley and will.i.am, but I still think what Miley is doing now could be only described as an improvement from the Disney days. Like I said not my taste, but good for her. Breaking Bad was obviously great...one of the best ever made, for sure. Peep Show is superb, That Mitchell and Webb look is brilliant, can't recommend it enough. Just great silly light-hearted comedy. I must have watched them all multiple times and they still make me laugh! Guess I should really look into The Wire soon...okay, i get it, you MIGHT watch Sherlock. Not a bad timing either, Season 3 is just round the corner.

Mmm I've heard a lot about The Wire but I haven't actually got around to watch it yet; although I've meaning to for quite some time...honestly there's so much stuff I've to get around to, just wish I had more time. Yay you for watching Sherlock! I dare you to not like it, I'll delete all the Buckethead plays from my library if you didn't (actually, no, I take that back). Yes I can imagine why you probably hated Misfits, it's just super weird and takes a while to get accustomed to, but like I said I find it tremendously funny (although again it's all just down to Robert Sheehan though). Speaking of funny, how cool are David Mitchell and Robert Webb? Love everything they do. Btw did you get a chance to listen to Eminem's new album yet? Only got around to doing that today and it has its moments, but I guess I need to listen to it more. Nothing on his early form of course. Good to see you're still not over your animosity for The Beatles, some things never change *shakes head*.

Bwhahaha! Would it surprise you that I actually have given a fair chance to Miley and will.i.am? I actually thought Wrecking Ball wasn't half-bad, and she can definitely sing, but the bulk of her music isn't really my taste. She can definitely carry a ballad though. I never thought I would ever, EVER like Miley Cyrus, but I find it hilarious how people are still losing their shit about her even all this time, but there's no denying she's clearly playing all her cards right. As for will.i.am, he's fun for dance-y pop music, but I don't really think I'm a fan. And yes, I'll neeeeever grow tired of Maiden, they are still amazingly relevant and they've achieved what very few bands do. Most other bands either disband or continue long enough to start producing shitty albums by the time they finally decide to call it quits. And these guys are still producing great live shows, and good music. I'm honestly so excited for the next album. If it's anything as good as AMOLAD...I'd probably die.

Btw you should give Sherlock a try. I know it's massively hyped and everything. I actually avoided it for the longest period of time because I thought it's just one more to the list of trite adaptations (and i found the fangirlism circlejerk obnoxious). But when I did eventually get around to watching it, I was surprised and in a good way. As you probably know they've done away with the done-to-death Victorian England setting and there's instead iPhones and blogs and the like. It's just a very creative adaptation and done very well. Watch the pilot at the very least, you'll love it. Even the books don't hold up a candle to the TV series (something i thought was impossible!) And shush about Misfits. It wasn't bad, although I did only watch it for Robert Sheehan, because he is fucking hilarious. All the other seasons were annnoying and sucky.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THE LAST ONE DID. Ehhh that new Maiden album news is up on Kerrang! and ClassicRock, but it won't let me post any links :| I agree that FF can’t beat the stuff that preceded it (especially the last 3). Yeah BNW is my second best album. It’s funny, when I listen to 80s Maiden I’m like, ‘This is their best sound, you can’t possibly beat this.’ And then I listen to their stuff from BNW onwards, and I think I might actually prefer the proggier sounds more. And DOD, the overall sounds/textures of that album are so different than anything they’ve ever done. Maiden is honestly one of my favourite bands to re-discover. I find that I’ve got over some of the bands that i used to swear by you know? (coughBeatlesalthoughistillkindalikethem) It’s odd, but it’s nice to be open to change I guess…speaking of, I used to hate electronic music and rap...I was a right little idiot.

And oh yeah cba to dig it up but I read this article a while back about an interview Bruce gave where he basically confirmed a new album in 2014, and pretty sure that was legit. Still waiting for them to top AMOLAD, although I doubt that's even possible. Final Frontier kicked ass though. By the way, there's a severe lack of Sherlock on this page. Ever watched Misfits (Channel 4)? It's awesome.
