Wide musical tastes, but I like good music that is music and takes talent to play and sing. I like Finnish rock and Japanese culture. My favorite songs to sing are the Sleeping Sun (Nightwish) or I walk alone ( Taryja- same singer ) another favorite would be "the other side" by Sirenia and" Bittersweet" by Apocalyptica with the guys from HIM and The Rasmus singing. I also like old favorites like Iron Maiden or BOC or listening to power metal guitars and visual kei.

Symphonic Metal, Gothic Metal, Alternative Rock, Celtic Music, Finnish Music, Scandanavian Music, Visual Kei and JRock, Norway, Scotland, England, I like the sort of music they would have on nuclear blast europe or euro rock. I also love Celtic music, R+B, jazz, jazz fusion, techno, classic rock and classical music such as Rachmaninov and Debussy, so my tastes are complex. A cousin of mine is the head of the NY Jazz and Blues Society and writes a music magazine.
My other half is a musician and there are a lot of musicians in our family.
Personally I am an artist, not a musician, but I really love music.

I like fantasy and science fiction, and manga and anime. I do writing and art, ride horses, and read.
I like to think up music that would go with what I am writing or reading and listen to those songs while I am doing it. I plan on getting my stuff published.
I am working on a couple of books and trying to do a graphic novel.

I work in education with juvenile delinquent teens, so I stay young.
