    Paul! Favourite Alt-J tracks include Fitzpleasure, Taro & Breezblocks. Get them all up in your face. As for other stuff, you're usually 10 steps ahead of me when it comes to tunes. .     I really like it. Yeah, there is a fair amount of sad songs, but I think it fits the overall tone, and those songs which isn't sad kind of make up for it (Jimmy Iovine, Thrift Shop). But the matters and subjects that he discusses on the album are really moving at times (him talking about his addiction, gay rights and so on), and I appreciate how you can hear he's grown since Language Of My World, both as an artist, but especially as a person. He was in Denmark late September, but unfortunately I missed him. Heard he gave a hell of a show though, but seeing Blu & Exile kind of made me forget all about it.

    I really don't know what to think anymore. Dude is incredible talented, dope and all, but if you had asked me 1 or 2 years ago, I would've been super stoked about it, but I feel like he sort of has been letting his fans down, because over a year ago he said that it would come out soon. So that is how it is and I respect that, but I am not as big a follower of him, as I once was. We just have to be patient, and realize that the release-date is "It comes out, when it comes out". I think and hope though, that it is going to be serious contestant for Album of the Year (in whatever year it comes out in :P). But it has been quite some time, since I really listened to him.

    Yeah, definitely, Californication really is a timeless album, no doubt, and a favorite of mine too. So many great tracks, memorable riffs and melodies (lack of a better word :P), but Stadium Arcadium also has a special place with me, since that was the album that really got me into them back in the day.

    You should definitely check out The Empyrean and Shadows Collide With People with John then. The latter is probably his most approachable album, and I don't mean that in a bad way. It has some of my favorite songs with him. The style and tone on that album could somewhat be compared to some of the stuff he did with Red Hot Chili Peppers. Right now I have a bunch of CDs coming my way, but once I get through them I'll check out some more De La Soul. That the album is more jazzy doesn't sound too bad, if it is anything like A Tribe Called Quest (?), since they're both a part of Native Tongues.

    Hey, no prob! Yeah, I love that album, even though I'm aware that it isn't their best. Haven't gotten around to really hear any of their other albums yet though. Seems like you have a sweet taste in music, very diverse, and Falling is an excellent top track to have!
