Sat 19 Mar – The 3rd ASIA TOUR- Super Show 3

Reached the venue, Bukit Jalil Indoor Stadium at about 3.30pm, and it was still drizzling slightly - but that definitely didn't dampen all the concert-goers' moods, that's for sure! Met up with the SJW bbs immediately, and helped out with the merchandise sales, only to have my heart race whenever the fans queuing for the Rock Pitt suddenly screamed and called out one of the members’ names (Henry was the first one, if I’m not mistaken~) But of course, I can never be sure whether the boys really walked past the place, because the doors were highly reflective in the first place.

Anyway, we went in at about 5.30pm, and the stadium was already almost completely filled! What made me really proud was the fact that all the ELF seated in the stadium and patiently waiting for the concert to start were pretty united, because we were all singing along to Super Junior’s songs that were being aired by the organisers. I think the song that we sang the loudest (inclusive of fanchants!) would be It’s You, though our voices would go pretty loud whenever there’s a ‘Saranghaeyo’ incorporated in the lyrics.

I initially thought that the concert would be delayed a little just like last year’s Super Show 2, inclusive of the opening acts, but to my surprise (and delight, of course~) the show started at about 6.15pm, and the screams of the fans in the stadium shot through the roof when the opening VCR started playing. I still can’t get over how cool the opening video is, and how their names were said in a sing-song manner XD Even though I’ve already watched another Super Show 3 previously in Singapore (on the second day), I guess the anticipation for the boys’ concerts to start never fades! Started screaming my head off the moment Donghae shot through the rotating stage in the middle, and the rest was history.

Of course, there were seriously a lot of fun moments throughout the concert. The boys were seriously hilarious with their English and randomness during the self-intro session, what with Hyuk and Hae leading the audience to say “Yeah” and “Woo” in different pitches. Then there was Heechul with his ‘chilling’, and Kyuhyun’s VERY ADORABLE English, if I might add! Needless to say, Jungsoo was acting like a complete dork during his intro, with his “I am water man” and throwing of water bottles XD I was seriously cracking up during the whole session.

During Rokkugo, Sungmin propped himself up on his stomach near my section, followed by Jungsoo on his back, and Eunhyuk on Sungmin’s other side later on. Then came the pained screams when Shindong slept on top of the three of them (T___T I was half-screaming in fear for Jungsoo’s back), and the screams topped a notch when Heenim finished off the human pyramid. Sobs, poor bbs T_T

But what I really, honestly didn’t expect was the fact that Ryeowook actually sang a Mandarin version of 봄날, Eunhyuk performed Down and that Jungsoo would actually perform his solo of Kiss Goodbye during the show!! Starting with Ryeowook’s solo, I was planning to sing along and kill myself with his lovely voice, but I started shaking from the overwhelming emotions when I realised that he wasn’t singing the Korean version. It was much loved ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ♥ Also, I really liked Hyuk’s version of Down~~ His dance break before the song-proper was seriously hot ;A; (at this point of time, I would really like to strangle the staff who didn’t allow me to record Hyuk’s full perf T__T)

And OH MY GOD. Don’t even get me started with Jungsoo’s solo ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I have been hoping so badly that he would perform Hitomi wo Tojite after listening to it the other time before Taiwan’s SS3, but once I found out that he actually sang Kiss Goodbye, my hopes of hearing him sing (and playing the piano liveㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ♥) drastically increased. I seriously started sobbing in joy when his face appeared on the big screen when the lights were switched on. He was amazing in every single way and no, that’s not my extreme biasness for him speaking.

When it came to Rinaldo, I think I cried buckets at that part the moment Kangin appeared on the screen, even though I’ve already anticipated his appearance. Of course, a lot of people around me were also crying; it just goes to show how much we miss him ;_; Yesung’s solo was awesomeeeeee. The whole stadium was singing along with him, and we could see how happy he was ^_^

One of the other best parts of the night was when PERFECTION started playing on the speakers. I nearly spazzed to oblivion, because I’ve been wanting to watch SJM perform the song live since they started promoting it in China. It definitely didn’t disappoint, and the dance steps were so cool zomg *___*

All in all, the whole concert was VERY enjoyable, and because the stadium was submerged in a pretty sapphire blue sea + the atmosphere was great, I personally enjoyed SS3 Malaysia so much more ^_^ (Not to say I didn’t enjoy the one in Singapore – it was a mind-blowing experience of its own!) The boys were amazing as usual, and I seriously can’t get over how hot they looked in person (even though it’s the 3rd time I’m seeing them live, I still have the same sentiments!) I’m really glad that Zhou Mi and Henry were very well-received in my country, what with the extremely loud fanchants for their solos and also screams during Super Girl, Don’t Don, and Perfection when they appeared :heart: They were very happy too =)) Although I didn’t want the show to end (and I wanted that ball that Hyuk kissed and threw – landed in the hands of the girl in front of me, dammit!!! – but I suppose that it’s a little impossible… Definitely looking forward to the next time that I’ll be seeing them live again ^__^
