Oh that's kind of mind blowing, man! I always forget anyone can see my page but I'm glad it comes in useful too. Band of Susans are a band I haven't heard properly in ages myself, need to do that soon. Thanks for the links, I had heard the first Glaxo Babies album and really enjoyed it, that song is good too, and I'm checking out 18th Dye now... fucking fantastic!

yes, total conversion complete. it'll take me ages (if ever) to really listen to all of it, but frenz, hex enduction and this nation's saving grace are all great

Haha brilliant. It's probably a combination of using my phone as a music player (it actually scrobbles) and always listening to music while working, which is pretty much all the time at the moment

whenever you get around to listening to them, tell me whether kim salmon and the surrealists are worth revisiting. i remember being distinctly underwhelmed by their first album

what did you think of the total control album? i thought it was great. i also just clicked through to the zoviet france artist page, are they as unbearable in ear as on paper?

Yeah man, tbh it's kind of hard to remember with that much musical material, I remember most of it being pretty good though xD

Nah didn't, quite a shame, I'm hoping they'll be around again this term. I really like it, I'd say it's really just like the pinnacle of microhouse for me but it does seem to be a bit of an indie darling so I guess there might be elements you enjoy. You seemed to enjoy taragana pyjarama so you might like it, definitely worth checking out at least

you definitely going to go to the dum dum girls in leeds? i've decided i definitely want to see them this tour, might chin off the pretty things, with great regret, and go see them instead. about as much effort to go leeds as it is london for me

It was a certainty but I don't think I can anymore, got uni commitments. Really hope we get a chance to see Khaira Arby soon though, the glimpse we got was so damn promising

Hey, seems like we haven't talked in ages- I'll msn you some time. Leeds is good but I'm running pretty low on cash, need to save £1000 by the end of June. If I can do that, wasn't everyone considering ATP? I'll listen to Bee Thousand in a bit, wasn't so big on Neu though. I guess it's probably a 'listen to it more' sort of thing. I'm liking the recommendations, everyone seems to have stopped inboxing me stuff on spotify recently. Get on it, and everyone else who reads this too

Mainly listened to the frogs as a result of them being on the anco line up, I've just been going through that recently. Dave mentioned deerhoof so I thought I'd check em out, some of their tracks are insanely catchy. I need to listen to more of their stuff though. Also related to that vvv it'd be awesome if das racist played ATP

I went straight from Hunky Dory to Station to Station couldn't be bothered with his Glam Rock phase. I really enjoyed Low and Heroes. I listened to the Ascension by Branca, incredible stuff. I will definitely listen to more of his material soon. I'm currently listening to SYR 9 it sounds awesome so far. Also check the odd future track I sent you on FB and did you listen to campfire songs?

I'm genuinely surprised the account is that old XD. Well where would you recommend taking sonic youth next? I know almost nothing of the remaining (many, admittedly) albums so don't know where to begin

Are pavement now paddy's band and sonic youth your band? Is that how it works? Also I'm not sure that lambasting my musical taste is the best way to convince me that my tastes and yours are congruent. Which sonic youth album are you referring to as the best album as all time? Maybe you've forgotten but this account is two months old, I've heard dirty, goo, daydream nation, murray street and the eternal in the past. I have no idea who initially recommended yo la tengo to me but it was padraigh who did the dropboxing of works
