Hello Dirk .. Jim, I guess that your listening to Johnny Winter set about the cosmic code that said that you needed 19 inches of snow. It was a magical karma thing.

I finally decided to clean out one of my many email addies and saw my link to last FM. I knew the addy to my email, but had no idea the p/w. Fortunately, I signed in there with this laptop before I lost the other three computers, and it had it stored. I could not recall my last fm user name. I knew the password though. I lost all of my computers within about a month. of each other. I keep a lot of info on a digital spreadsheet to remind myself.

Montrose...hmmm I guess that means that you and the Mrs finalized your choices on a retirement community. Stay warm and enjoy. I'm really enjoying some Johnny Winter. that you were kind enough to play yesterday.

Well hello Jim. Hope time has been treating you well. It must be about time for your son to be through with grad school. As for myself, I'm still above ground and I'm grateful.

If you can find the album : Little Heavy Burdens, Just buy it! It's one of the best albums of this year. Reminds me a lot of Edi Brickell and 10,000 manicas.

Good song. The score impressed me more than the lyrics. I went on to listen to several of their songs on youtube and would consider the music quite good.

Hey Jim, I hope this time last.fm will work when I write this down. Can you do me a favour ? Please listen to this song : Intergalactic Lovers - Northern Rd.. It's one of the most sensational bands here in Belgium. Tell me if you like this song. Or perhaps not.

Now wouldn't it be a real drag
If we were all the same?

just livin' to be heard
future generations
ridin' on the highways that we built
I hope they have a better understanding
