Hello Ellis. It's okay, it's more than likely that I failed to reply to you - so for that I apologise. That's okay... I'll probably send you anything I come across that I particularly like/think you will. James put me down on the guestlist....but I'm not going. I'm not fond of any of the bands playing and I'm scared by crowds of people. I hope you have a nice time yourself though - and I hope you are well.

Haha, I can't act either, I never could. I can't do accents or anything, I've been told that I speak with absolutely no emotion in my voice whatsoever, which made me feel pretty bad, but I don't know...I just know I can't act/sing/dance. I know, it's all so abstract, the basics might be important later in life, but the things we're doing at the moment have no relevance in day-to-day life. We learn how to differentiate and integrate functions, and how to expand binomial equations, eurgh, it's all so painful. Ah, Well thank you! I passed, anyhow. Only two minors as well, so I was really pleased. I've been out most of the afternoon, just driving around listening to Modest Mouse, it was great. Yeah, he killed himself when he was only 26, it's really sad. I found his gravestone in the churchyard there as well. It makes me really emotional, thinking about it, because he had such talent, and to see it wasted like that is terrible.

I'm sure you'll do great, just imagine you really are the character (I'm certain they must teach you that) and you will be loud! Haha, Maybe, but not if I fail it...Maths scares me a lot. I'd much rather learn things I'm actually going to use, which sounds like such a cliche, but the type of maths I am learning now, I really won't use, ever. Thank you for your luck, I'll probably need it. I'm starting to get a bit more nervous now. I've heard the IB is really difficult, so I wish you luck for that! There's an awful lot of exams for it, since you do lots of subjects, that won't be fun... You'll enjoy it if you get the chance, it's a brilliant subject, I think that to some extent, it's actually shaped a lot of who I am today, many of the theories are really thought provoking. It's great. You keep listening to Nick Drake now! I'm happy! He's amazing. He's from a village about 10 minutes from my house. I drove past the house where he died the other day. It's so sad.

Yes, I think people think similar things of me, not that I mind. The kind of people who label me like that aren't really the kind of people I want to be speaking to. Ah, I'm sure you'll do fine! Don't worry about it, don't worry about people's reactions, just shout as loud as you can! I like that feeling as well, I just haven't felt it in a while, A2 Maths is the worst thing I have ever done. My teacher is okay, I guess he explains things well, and I can do the work in the class, I just forget how to do it when it gets around to the exam. I have an amazing philosophy teacher though. I'm glad you enjoyed it more than school anyway, I worked at my dad's workplace over summer, and it was the most boring thing I have ever done. Driving did go well, Thank you! I have my test on Friday, so this was my last lesson really, scary! Philosophy is so great, I recommend it if you get the chance to take it, but I presume, by that comment, that you can't do it now, that's a shame!

Aha, it's absolutely fine, I guess I'm shy as well, I don't cope well with new people and probably give really awful first impressions as a result. Once I know people, I'm okay, but I'm quiet as well, so people often mistake shyness for lack of speech. I doubt I could even play those characters! I used to play shows with the school band, a while back, and whenever I was on stage and had people looking at me, I would shake, and get really nervous, it was horrible. I know that feeling! I'm always so much more excited whilst I'm planning something, raher than actually constructing it. You love maths?! I hate maths, I really do. Do you have a daughter to take to work with you?!!! Haha, Or did you go to your mothers workplace? That sounds like fun! I had to do a similar thing last year. Today has been okay, I had double maths, which almost killed me, but I'm home and safe now. I have a driving lesson in half an hour, and then I aim to do a philosophy essay this evening!

That's good! Aha, Yes, I've taken my GCSEs, I studied French, History and Music, all of which I enjoyed to some extent, surprisingly. I hated drama, I can't stand in front of other people without getting incredibly nervous, I would have hated being forced into doing it. Haha, Textiles sounds fun! I remember enjoying it when I did it at secondary school, I made a pillow! I'm currently doing Maths, Physics and Philosophy at college, which isn't all that fun, and I'm more than likely to fail maths. These exams coming are my final A2 exams, the ones that determine which university I get into, and ultimately the rest of my life, so as you can imagine, I'm terrified. Eurgh. How has your day been? x

I'm glad you like it! I wasn't really sure which of the songs you'd already heard, so I just included every song that I've fallen in love with lately. Exams are horrid, what subjects are you taking at GCSE, besides the compulsory ones? If I've already asked you that, I apologise.

It's not problem at all, I've been away all week anyway, so I couldn't reply myself. I've not listened to much by the Maccabees either, they are one of those bands that just don't appeal to me, I don't know why, I guess I'm judging them before I've even heard songs by them, that's bad. It's nice to know you're listening to The Smiths more and more, they are incredible. No other band will speak to your heart quite as much as The Smiths. Ah, that's great, I hope you're enjoying playing it! I've always wanted to learn piano, I just never got around to it, I guess. I've played guitar for a long time now though, but I'm still not very good. You're right! I was in France, skiing. It was quite wonderful. I absolutely love being in the mountains, the sceneary is just incredible, and it makes you feel quite new and refreshed, in a strange way. I hope you had a nice time with Poppy on her Birthday! What did you do? x

Haha, I turned into a bit of an idiot, I didn't know what to say, and just stood there in awe, kind of, saying random words to the drummer for a while. I think he thought I was crazy. Who would you say are your favourite band? (it sounds as though it might be white lies!). No it doesn't sound pathetic at all, keyboard is just the same as piano really, and piano is certainly not pathetic. Okay. I believe I have their album somewhere, a friend might have lent it me a while ago, but I never listened to it, I can't really say why. I think James saw them at glastonbury or something, if I can remember. You should, they're an amazing band. I don't know which album to reccommend, Good News is probably the easiest to get into, but it's (in my opinion) their worst. I think This is a long drive is my favourite album of theirs. It would be stunning, to see The Smiths. Haha, is it her birthday soon? My day was okay. It was college, which wasn't nice, but it was the last day of term, so that was.

Haha, Yes, I guess you must look pretty young. No problem, they're fantastic though. I know, concerts in london cost so much money, that's the only problem. It was nice actually, going to London. I met the band afterwards, which was great, as they're probably my favourite band. I actually have a friend who lives in Maidstone, or near to there, or something. She plays lots of classical music though, so I daresay she wasn't at the far show. What instrument do you play? I think James has seen White Lies live, if I'm not mistaken. I've never really taken the time to listen to them all that much. Hmm, that's hard! Probably a Smiths reuinion, I couldn't ask for more than that, but if it had to be a current band, I'd happily see Modest Mouse again. How has your day been?

Haha, have you ever been? I agree, most people who seem to like the same music as me have a lot else in common as well. I think people who listen to the same music feel the same emotions, it's far easier to relate to people who can relate to the same music as you. Underage will be great, but I'm not sure they'll let you in if you're really 99. Los Campesinos are stunning live, you'll have a great time. James is going as well I believe. I know, it's amazing, there are good concerts every single night in London. If I lived there, I would have no money whatsoever. Um, it's okay here I guess. Some good bands play, but the big tours often miss out Birmingham for some reason. Modset Mouse toured England last year, and didn't play Birmingham, so I caught the train to London to see them, since I love them that much. What's the best concert you've ever been to?
