I'm holding Minutes to Midnight in my hands and sifting through the cd booklet. Sanity's cd+shirt deal was too good to pass up. (thanks pya!!) Been waiting a long time for this. Tis not the LP i expected or..wanted, but hey change is good. Just takes getting used to. and more listens. definitely. might be one of those cds that grows on you.

Mike has a song so thats good Hands Held High.and i'm not a fan on Chesters' solo-ing..or at least in excess.

On `Hands Held High` : "This song's pipe organ and marching snare proved the prefect musical bed for two of the most inspired verses Mike had ever delivered" THAT's hawt. reading the cd booklet makes listening to these songs all the more rewarding. and the lyrics, lets not forget about the lyrics.

`Bleed It Out` is definitely like the LP of old too.

Now..I want another Fort Minor record!!

excuse me now, as i go mimic some mike shinoda raps.
  • chris! at the disco.

It's almost been one whole year since I last wrote something here.

Life is hectic, but manageable. At least for the time being.

Anyways. Music heals all. New music all the more so.

    Little Wonders
Apparently this was on Meet The Robinsons. Oh Boy.

'I dont care what your friends if you want me let me know' LOVE this song.

    20 Good Reasons
A friend told me about 20 Good Reasons, and in good stead, it's Great. And of course, Missy, rounding off some aussie tunes.

    All Of Your Love
Odd little band, but worthwhile. Still sifting through their
Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! album, but me likes so far.

    Your Guardian Angel (Acoustic)
Only had Face Down, but got some more songs by these guys. That song, which Joy told me to get, it IS WONDERFUL. The acoustic version kicks ass.

    Beautiful Disaster
I thank Last.FM for this song.

    Never Alone (acoustic)
Her voice accompanys the piano so well. Almost as good as Amy Lee, but nyer. I had the original song before, but this piano acoustic KICKS ASS.

I owe thanks to Jen for this one. Angsty little song, or at least close to her old songs. But yeah, her voice is better..but still whiny.

    New music. How excitement.

Peace out dudes and dudettes, Chris is going out tonight.

Snow Patrol-ling atm. Very nice I must say. Eyes Open, though I hear that Final Straw was better.

Kicking myself that I hadn't found the time to listen to these guys earlier on.

Anyways. Shall burn this as I'm heading out tonight. Shall make terrific "piss-the-rents-off" muso. However, it IS Mother's Day and I SHOULD be alittle more considerate. so sue me.

A friend saw Dylan Moran the other night. Heard it was quite the comedic feast. Which makes me kick myself i wasn't at the Laugh Garage live shows down at parra. *mutters incoherently something about how the stupid half yearlies had to be on the following week*

Check this out. Very interesting. And no, NOT ME! But I have got people in mind... *grins*

A thumbs up to Snow Patrol, and a shout out to Dylan Moran.

    My job is done here.

    1) Let us lay in the sun, And count every beautiful thing we can see

    2) so i fall i don't wanna feel this small, you know i just can't handle this, handle this at all

    3) i'll fit all of these monstrosities inside
    and i'll come alive

    4) now look at me. instead of moving on i refuse to see.

    5) where were you while we were getting high?

    6) oh when i look back now, that summer seemed to last forever, and if i had the choice, yeah, i’d always wanna be there

    7) there's too much anger inside me, there's too much scarring when i bleed

    8) you kept me guessing and now I guess that, i spent my time missing you

    9) i'll be your number one with a bullet, a loaded god complex, cock it and pull it

    10) passed out in our school clothes so we'd wake up in our sunday's best, i never asked for your opinion, i just got it

  • Tinsel Town

    3. Jan. 2006, 11:35

firstly, im only posting here out of sheer boredom. (and no, punctuation does not apply to me. deal with it)

    just..chilling. music. simple pleasures.

Rediscovering Feeder all over again. superb listening. buck rogers, tinsel town, descend, insomnia, comfort in sound. brilliant stuff. im wishing i had picked up those subs i saw 2 weeks ago, which would make listening to feeder, or music in general,..pure ambience.

to a different note, its unsual of me however, to indulge in hip hop. well, guess it really isnt hip hop, its Mike Shinoda. (see, there, ive created a new genre). seriously, ive played "believe me" around 70 times in 4 days. this really isnt healthy. guess...the lyrics?..dunno.

but my point is, thanx to Fort Minor, i think i might be able to tolerate mainstream hip hop. maybe its just the LP junkie, speaking inside of me.

as a side note, probly wont post here as often as i should/want to. but i do see why people like this. a place to talk about the one thing that is loved among all. Music.
