Recently I've heard a great and inspirational song called Om Namo Bhagavate. I guess its singer is Krishna Das. I thought it would be cool to put here a little explanation about the words. If you have the opportunity, listen this beautiful music.
OM NAMO BHAGAVATE VASUDEVAYA (from sanskrit): it's one of the various mantras to evoke Krishna. OM means the dimensional vibration that flows and penetrate everything and everyone
NAMO: Greeting or reverence to divine power
BHAGAVATE: respect to the Lord.
VASUDEVAYA: Vasudeva is the name of the family which raised Krishna on Earth. The Ya at the end means the mantra's active characteristic (male). When somebody sings this whole mantra, it evokes Krishna as a man that has also lived on Earth and knows about the difficulties faced by everyone of us.
Inspiring…
