Dude, language! I could completely deny my mistake and make out that this guy is a knob but I'll own up. I had originally titled this journal "The Beatles Top 25 songs". I had intended to call it "MY Beatles Top 25 songs". Obviously seeing my mistakes, I changed it, not before renacto commented however. There.

I'll never understand your preference for their earlier stuff (props for listing some White Album songs though). For me, they really started to take off with Sgt. Pepper's. I was thinking about this subject a few days ago, and some of my very top songs are While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Let It Be, and Here Comes the Sun. Also, one of their best early songs is What You're Doing, IMO - I like it more than most of their earlier singles.

I don't fully understand it either because their earlier songs really aren't anywhere near the quality of their later songs.. It was really hard to do this though because it turns into a list of their "better" songs instead of "favorites". While the songs you listed are incrediable songs (I'd never deny that) they just simply don't strike me as personally as the ones I listed do. I actually really love What You're Doing too.

In saying so, they're completely dismissing Rubber Soul and Revolver. It's just not right.

Oi, how can you possibly say that any personal Beatles favorites list sucks? I'd reckon that because 95% of their songs are SUBLIME that any list would automatically be reasonable. I'm Looking Through You is definately *not* one of my favorites so...
