Sun 28 Nov – Julie Peel, Jake Armerding

Julie Peel was absolutely delightful. Dare I say her voice was dangerously better in person than on her albums? It was a very pleasant surprise. I recommend everyone try and see her live. If you think her songs are full of emotion, go to a performance and you can feel that emotion pulsating from the stage. Her playlist was perfect and had all the songs I would want to hear. Although it would have been nice to hear more, like 'OK' when you're the opening act, you don't have the luxury of a full play list.

Club Passim is a nice venue to play at. It's very intimate, not ear shattering loud and the food is great. It's always nice to have the ability to sit two feet away from the artist performing.
