2009 Rhapsody Albums

I recently joined Rhapsody, mostly because I can't keep up with all the releases I want to listen to. So, here is the running list of 2009 albums that I have listened to via Rhapsody. The scrobbling method is a bit archaic, but it seems to be working. Lord knows I can't listen to music and not have it recorded here!

I love reading 'best of' lists. It's not that just like other people's opinions, but I often discover new things, and subsequently spend the first couple of months in the new year catching up. I will post everything I find here (for a really compressive list see the link to Largehearted Boy at the bottom. Best Albums of 2008: Halfway Home

How does one rate an album? Music critics seem to have no problem putting a number to an album, but I can never come to a conclusion. My opinion of an album seems to change by the day. It either grows on me, or I grow tire of it. Either way, I always hem and haw over my choices and always look back at them at think, "What was I thinking?"

Anyway, it really doesn't matter, except I like to think about the music I listen to, and why I choose to listen to it. I've thought about it, and here are the 10(ish) albums that I think are the best so far.
