My list of albums of heard from 2011 with links to my review of it, plus a list of other albums I intend to check out. Recommendations are welcome!
Already heard (with ratings and reviews)
The below list is ratings given in a professional sense, and my personal top 2011 albums list may have some variations. Ratings are given based on the standards I hold for release of that genre and if I'm familiar with the artist already, the standard that I hold that artist to.
As such although this list is ranked from the higher scores going down, that DOES NOT always mean that a death metal album scored at 8.0 is a better and more enjoyable release than a folk metal album scored at 7.5, or whatever. I'll post a personal list of albums at the end of the year.
