Summer Solstice & Stonehenge June21st 2012, Although the sun did not rise shinning brightly this year due to the cloud base, all earth children that were there shone and enjoyed as ever that great tribal gathering feel, i went on to Avebury with friends afterwards finally crashing out in a tent in the Savernake Forest after having our own party-smiley times. If you have not been to summer solstice at either stonehenge or avebury i highly recommend it for enligtenment and piles of smiles

TO ALL MY FIRENDS HAPPY BELTANE-MAY DAY May Day is related to the Celtic festival of Beltane and the Germanic festival of Walpurgis Night[citation needed]. May Day falls exactly half a year from November 1, another cross-quarter day which is also associated with various northern European pagan and the year in the Northern hemisphere. Beltaine is celebrated on 1 May, a spring-time festival of optimism. Fertility ritual again was important, in part perhaps connecting with the waxing power of the sun, symbolized by the lighting of fires through which livestock were driven, and around which the people danced in a sunwise direction. In Irish mythology, the beginning of the summer season for the Tuatha Dé Danann and the Milesians started at Bealtaine. Great bonfires would mark a time of purification and transition, heralding in the season in the hope of a good harvest later in the year, and were accompanied with ritual acts to protect the people from any harm by Otherworldly spirits,

Happy Samhain or if you prefer Halloween, Let ya Spirits Run Free. Food For Thought........................ Samhain (pronounced 'sow'inn') is a very important date in the Pagan calendar for it marks the Feast of the Dead. Many Pagans also celebrate it as the old Celtic New Year (although some mark this at Imbolc). It is also celebrated by non-Pagans who call this festival Halloween. Samhain has been celebrated in Britain for centuries and has its origin in Pagan Celtic traditions. It was the time of year when the veils between this world and the Otherworld were believed to be at their thinnest: when the spirits of the dead could most readily mingle with the living once again. Later, when the festival was adopted by Christians, they celebrated it as All Hallows' Eve, followed by All Saints Day,To most modern Pagans, while death is still the central theme of the festival this does not mean it is a morbid event.

Fellow Psychonauts, I saw Caravan and Curved Air at the Sheperds Bush Empire on the 8th October. Caravan done most of their in the Land of Grey & Pink album with Pye Hastings fronting so the sounds were good. The Atmoss was Mildly dampened by the seating arrangement down stairs but a cool gig nevertheless.

Über mich

I live for smiley times with good soul friends, a seeker on the other side, my minds eye is the key to my mind and the doorway to bliss. Been going to festivals and gigs for ever and a day and although the festival scene has changed in the last decade great times at festivals in our green and pleasent land are ever to be had. Got into bikes at a young age, rock music and all that is the wonderous life of a psychonaut. Love adventure and the great outdoors especially mountaineering in the highlands, such an astonshing place.

All Soul brothers and sisters out there who have similar tastes to me it would be great to hear from you and who knows gather now and then for smiley times.
