A big HELLO to all Metalheads out there!
My name ist Tina and I’m running the fanclub for the metal band UNREST that is celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year!!!
UNREST is a German true metal band which already exists since 1988 and meanwhile has produced 7 albums of which the latest one “Back To The Roots” got released on November 10th, 2006.
"Wolfspack" is a little community of fans (counting 121 members by now) from all over the world that supports UNREST with their hearts and for the love of the band's music and live shows.
I wouldn’t run this fanclub, if I too wasn't so much interested in supporting them as much as I can so that UNREST finds their way up and becomes popular again as they have already been once from 1988 – 2000.
During that time UNREST played and toured with bands like RAGE, SKYCLAD and eventually ICED EARTH and NEVERMORE through Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. But also tours with SCANNER, W.A.S.P., SINNER and especially DIO have been always very successful. The audience’s feedback had been always that striking that UNREST easily won additional fans in great number from all over the world.
Unfortunately, the band took a long break in 2000.
But since the end of 2003 UNREST is reunited and starting through again with two new band members: André Neuhaus, the animal on bass ;) and Marco Liedtke on second guitar.
Besides having numerous gigs around Germany and Switzerland UNREST has just released their 7th album "Back To The Roots" on November 10th, 2006 at Massacre-Records.
It is a brillant album and contains what the title already promises – back to the roots - just back to the old-school metal that became so rare within the past couple of years in that so many new metal bands of the most different genres suddenly popped up like mushrooms!
