Well, in '01 or '02 my music taste shifted from German Hip-Hop to Rock. I started to listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Cranberries but since my brother invited me to System of a Down it was going heavier and heavier. Bands like Tool, Deftones and Slipknot accompanied my change to the really heavy stuff as it is today. Dimmu Borgir, DevilDriver, Six Feet Under, Naglfar and so on have been my favorite bands for the last 2 years. But now my focus is shifting to some more melodic styles of metal: Still Dimmu Borgir but also Vintersorg, Satariel and Tvangeste just to name some! Other bands I enjoy listening to are Judas Priest, Iced Earth and Blind Guardian, for example.

In early summer '06 I also started to listen to some kind of dark electronic music (again introduced by my brother) and it's taking a bigger place over the years. Starting with Heimataerde and Combichrist EBM and industrial music got more and more attention from me and the list of artists got bigger and bigger. At the moment Heimataerde is still one of the best in my opinion but X-Fusion and [:SITD:] are following in close distance...

Right now (early '09) Dark Electro and Metal equals sort of, and I'm beginning to discover some more "mainstream" Music. Especially House/Techno like Gui Boratto's "Take My Breath Away or Spencer & Hill's Right On Time If you got some Artists that are similar, you're welcome to recommend it to me ;)
