Well I hope this journal will survive now that Last Fm is kinda trying to reviving itself after the crash this Friday...

Anyway, first artist to write about is Jethro Tull... I don't now what genre to put them, they have many different influences, from Folk to Progressive... I have never really liked them for some reason, but this time i heard more tracks and found some of them quite good, like Thick As A Brick, Nothing Is Easy and Bouree

The Man In Black, Johnny Cash, surprised me this time around with some really cool songs, like Folsom Prison Blues and San Quentin... i wonder how he was allowed to sing those songs when he visited those prisons o.o

Last note is "The Metal Gods" Judas Priest. This time I listen to some more early tracks like Hell Bent for Leather, The Green Manalishi (With The Two-Pronged Crown), and the whole Angel Of Retribution album. But in the end, classics like Living After Midnight and You've Got Another Thing Comin' are the best :)

Kinda sad I can't see them live @ Sweden Rock Festival (to darn expensive + I hate tents)... well I have the new Nostradamus cd to look forward to :)
