That's the exact same thing I did only it started with the Beatles. I always either hated or was indifferent to radio music and I thought I just didn't like music. Then I listened to all the Beatle albums and remember hearing about Cream and that's where my journey began.... branching out and tending to go in the opposite direction time wise.
How did you discover the music you listen to? Why did you get as deep into it as you have? I know the radio isn't the reason. What part of the U.S. are you in?
How does a 17 year old girl have this kind of interest or knowledge either one of the stuff you listen to? That's bad-ass. Top played song of Clapton's is one that's relatively obscure and not something like "Wonderful Tonight" or "Tears in Heaven"... cool.
