Punk rock, WTF? And a shiny new love...

I've never been much into punk rock. Okay, I kinda liked it back the old times when I was still at school. OMG, I'm old! ;-) But nevertheless, I'm lucky to find out that I have a liking for punk rock. At least for the bands/albums I'd like to recommend... that are:

Against Me! - Searching for a Former Clarity
This album is a soaking bastard with intelligent lyrics, a hot, elegant and smart mixture of punk rock, blues, little spots of pop, and a heavy load of brilliant moments like Violence. Wow! What a song... or say Even at Our Worst We're Still Better Than Most (The Roller). Or maybe you've never been in Miami... This album is so post punk rock!

Punk rock again, but from a different view: Fuel on Fire. Rough, a bit lofi, pretty straight, but The Old Haunts have certainly the blues like in Death on the Sickbed or Filled In, that for a short moment sounds like The Libertines and Franz Ferdinand having an intense sexual relationship. So far... but whats that? I love Fuel on Fire - doubleplusthumbsup for this track. Thank you!

Okay, comming to my shiny new love. To me it's... hmm, post . What a description! It's the new for sure, it's , it s, it's kinda strange, it's fun. I'm talking about Oxford Collapse and Remember hhe night parties.
They're so sexy and exciting with Please Visit Your National Parks, they're little smartasses beeing Lady Lawyers. And they're just great. Don't underestimate Molasses - my favourite track on this album.

It's satisfying to discover new muisc...

Check out Fugazi, people seem to classify them as punk/hardcore but it's not as extreme as you'd expect at all.
