Ok, so I spotted this on last.fm and I knew I had to try it:

Needless to say, that's a lot of music. Who knows what will come up, I've got everything in here from Mel Brooks, to the Finnish Poets of the Fall, to Israeli pop, to German hard metal, to Simon & Garfunkle.
The 1st Astrological House
What it means: "This is the House where we meet the world … It can describe our physical appearance or image and planets in this house are used to communicate something about the individuality of the person."
Winamp says: Badge

My interpretation: Apparently I'm quite random in my individuality, since this song is all over the place. Perhaps it's telling me that my physical appearance tends to be cyclical? That I need to break out of the cycle?
The 2nd Astrological House
What it means: "The Second House is concerned with what we have in terms of material possessions and also our ability to use our special skills and talents to bring our possessions to us. It can also indicate our self esteem and the value we place not only on material things but also ourselves. Are we worth it?"
Winamp says: No Pain No Gain
Sample lyric: "And no pain means no gain, I've heard them say and life seems sometimes pretty to me."
My interpretation: It sounds to me like my magical winamp is telling me that I have a lot of work still left to do, but if I do it, take the pain, I'll get the gain, and it'll all work out for the best.
The 3rd Astrological House
What it means: "This House (represents) the area in our lives where we communicate … It is also associated with … siblings. It describes our early education, our schooling and is essentially … it is where we begin to meet the world in social terms."
Winamp says: Dedicated Follower of Fashion
Sample lyric: " Eagerly pursuing all the latest fads and trends, cause he's a dedicated follower of fashion. They seek him here, they seek him there, In regent street and leicester square."
My interpretation: Apparently all my friends are either trend-whores or British or both, I had NO idea, but that's ok, I think I can deal. That being said, if any of you start wearing "frilly nylon panties" I'll get out my gun. It could also mean that my early education was trendy with plenty of content but no real value. Perhaps I should take more challenging classes?
The 4th Astrological House
What it means: "This is your home, which is expressed through a sense of personal security. Your roots, the traditions which bind your family, and your father are all represented by this house. Land holdings and feelings of completion can also be seen in this segment of the chart."
Winamp says: Pitch The Baby

My interpretation: Hmmm, I think it's telling me that I should sell my land at the earliest opportunity? Perhaps I'm going to be living in tiny dorm spaces for longer then I think. I guess it's also saying that my sense of personal security is filled with love for others. Either that or someone's going to eat my heart, Indiana Jones style. Also I suppose it's saying that I'm still looking for completion, I'd agree with that.
The 5th Astrological House
What it means: "This house represents your need to express love and creativity, and is related to romantic affairs, matters of the heart, children, and play. Your "inner child" emerges here. This area also extends to speculative interests (including gambling) and entertainment."
Winamp says: Captain Jack

My interpretation: Well crap… apparently my inner child is dominating my life, and he's a crack-whore. Let's just pretend that this means I'm lazy and forget we ever stuck this song here. :P At least my love and creativity has a good tune…. Thankfully, I'm not 21 yet, but if that does happen, feel free to hunt me down and shoot me. Also, I should probably avoid gambling, since it doesn’t look like this predicts much success.
The 6th Astrological House
What it means: "Your sense of duty is expressed in the 6th house (which is called the House of Service). Work, work environment, and employees all relate to this house. This area also rules physical health, and your body’s ability to adapt to change."
Winamp says: Vow

My interpretation: Ummm…….. Well, I'm currently unemployed, but I did steal office supplies back when I was, so I guess that part is right. Apparently I'm more adaptable then those around me to the point where I'll change your world and make you my slave…. What? You didn't see that….
The 7th Astrological House
What it means: "Partnership, marriage, and social relationships, as well as open enemies and competitors, are related to this house. The 7th house also deals with contractual agreements."
Winamp says: The Battle of Stirling
Sample lyric:
My interpretation: I am a fighter, if you're an open enemy or competitor you had better watch out cause I'll gather an army and slaughter your ass. If you have a contractual agreement with me, I'll keep it, and if you break it I'll hunt your ass down and gut you. When it comes to romance and relationships I'm loyal and majestic, but I can be gentle and soft as well, ok, I can go for that. Should I make a crack about rhythmic or just let you think about it?
The 8th Astrological House
What it means: "This is the house of … sexuality and deep emotional attachments … The processes of death and regeneration occur in this area, which is also related to unseen forces and interests, and the occult."
Winamp says: Meadows

My interpretation: There is a lot of beauty around me, some of it very abstract, some of it very real, some of it in the people around me. I may make deep emotional attachments but they will eventually fade away if I don't take care and pay attention and maintain them. The occult provides a lens for my life but if I rely on it or any other philosophical crutch I'll miss out on the beauty around me.
The 9th Astrological House
What it means: "Your mentors and inspirational teachers are connected to this house, which rules philosophy, religious and spiritual pursuits (aswell as) legal affairs and the courts."

My interpretation: Well philosophy has always been a bit abstract as is this song.
The 10th Astrological House
What it means: "This is the most elevated house in your chart, and shows your public persona, status, fame or notoriety, and reputation. Your career is expressed through 10th-house activities."

My interpretation: Ok… WTF? Where the hell did I get this song from? Ummm… let's see…. People will tell me that I'll crash and burn but I'm better off if I just keep on doing what I'm doing because if I try and counter what people say I'll have spent to much time doing that when in truth it all works out in my favor anyway. So just keep on keeping on. I think this one basically just said, ignore everything that your magical winamp just told you and keep on going the way your going. The system shot itself in the foot :P
The 11th Astrological House
What it means: "Your satisfaction with your career is expressed in the 11th house; you also devise your hopes and wishes for the future here. This house rules relationships without boundaries (such as friendships), and shows the way you receive love and support from others."

My interpretation: If the 11th house represents friendships, this means that either I'm full of shit or everyone else is. Crap…. Perhaps it means you are all intensely jealous of me :P
The 12th Astrological House
What it means: "Known as the House of Hidden Enemies and Self-Undoing, here we are shown where we fall into denial. Secrets, addictions, and confinement are related to this area, along with institutions and activities which occur behind the scenes."
Winamp says: Carpet
Sample lyric: "As you laugh to erase all the dirt in this place. Making sure for the last time together is nowhere "
My interpretation: Apparently I or my hidden enemies are covering up the evil we do. I think… damn I'm confused.
Ummm, wow… there were some songs in there I had no idea that I had. My reading was all over the place at some points uplifting and at some points depressing. I think it also shows that my music interpretation skills could use some work. In the mean time… what the hell is going on here? I didn't even like some of those songs, perhaps the real lesson here is that I should stop just going after any music I should get and be more discriminating… nah.
