Life is full of transitions
Life is awkward
I hate it more than anything
I luv it more than anything

The transition from 'childhood' to 'adultiness' is a horrible one, as adults in the U.S. often tell us in our young years that we are all special, everybody's a winner, we can accomplish anything we want, etc., and in our teens, they immediately dump it on us that our lives don't really matter, there's little hope for our future, we're not going to enjoy life, we're just pawns of society. I look forward to independence, but not everything else.

A year from now, I will graduate high school
I might go to college or something
Maybe not
What will I study
What will I do
Will I ever get a decent job
Will I ever project my name into our culture
Probably not.

I question my place in life, my beliefs, everything that I thought was once set in stone.

Is friendship actually important to me? Did I actually spend most of my life falsely believing I was an actual loner?

What does conformism actually mean? Am I really ready to do what I can to be different? Is it all just a waste of time?

What is my sexuality? Will I ever discover such a thing? Do I want to spend my life alone or with others?

What am I even doing here on this site?

Why am I still here?
