I didn't really think much of the supporting band The Noisettes. For me they just didn't have any 'wow' factor. It seemed pretty run-of-the-mill and I couldn't really hear what they were singing as their drums and guitars drowned out the vocals.

Muse at the MEN
12. Nov. 2006, 11:38
I saw Muse at the Manchester Evening News Arena on Friday night. They were absolutely awesome and great on stage entertainers. I wish it had lasted longer or I had more tickets to see them elsewhere. I shall definately try and see future performances and I hope they produce lots more albums.

Meat Loaf Weekend
21. Okt. 2006, 9:12
I think this weekend will be spent playing mostly Meat Loaf songs. I'm beginning to get really excited as his new album will arrive on my doorstep at the beginning of next week. I can't wait much longer....I feel like I'm a balloon that someone is holding on to, when they let go all the air is going to rush out and I'll go weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! -
1 Year Today!
11. Okt. 2006, 7:57
Yay! I've been here a year and it's certainly been great fun. I've really enjoyed keeping track of what I listen to. Thanks Last.fm for such a great service and keep up the good work. -
Black Holes and Revelations
3. Jul. 2006, 10:28
My copy of Muse's new album Black Holes and Revelations arrived this morning. My first impressions are good, no, very good. I know I shall be listening to it quite a lot over the next few days. -
The Monster is Loose
5. Jun. 2006, 17:20
I've just downloaded Meat Loaf's new song from his new album Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose from his offical website http://www.meatloaf.net/ It was co-written by John 5 of Marilyn Manson notoriety, Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue and Desmond Child.
I'm not too sure what I think of it at the moment. I think it'll take a few listens before I get used to it. To me it sounds like a cross between Marilyn Manson and Meat Loaf. But then I suppose every singer/band evolves throughout their career. -
Death Defying Life
3. Jun. 2006, 20:05
I've recently seen Death Defying Life Live in a local venue near where I live in York. They're a really good band that have been together since 2003. They're currently putting a debut EP together. I'm definately going to look out for them in the future. I'll just have to suffice with the four songs I've managed to aquire until I can get some more :P
This is their website:

Meds
26. Mai. 2006, 18:25
Yay! I'm a happy Aless now. I've finally got around to getting Placebo's new album Meds. It's been a long wait and to compensate I decided to get the special dvd version. Now I'm going to spend some time listening to it. -
Because I Want You
3. Feb. 2006, 0:32
Am I the only one who thinks that Because I Want You from Placebo's new album Meds, due to be released in March, is the best one on the album? From what I've been reading people don't seem to think that much of this track. I love it. -
Music to help de-stress
1. Feb. 2006, 14:34
Yesterday was a crappy day, so to cheer myself up I listened to Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell on repeat all day. It's the album I always listen to when I'm really stressed or feeling down. Somehow it just makes me feel better when I can turn up the volume so it's really loud.
I think we all have an album that we listen to when we're upset. -
Meds

I've heard Placebo's new album Meds. It's growing on me, some of the tracks more than others, but for the moment I prefer some of their earlier stuff.
