Über mich

O))) - Time is thee enemy!

"It is highly probable that the whole universe around us will die the heat death, in which the world shall be reduced to one vast temperature equilibrium in which nothing really new ever happens. There will be nothing left but a drab uniformity..." (Wiener, 1954, p. 31)

I listen to atmospheric black metal, doom, nordic folk, ethereal and other cold stuff in winter. I listen to stoner, sludge and their relatives in summer, when it strikes heavier. I rather listen to post-rock if napping and atmospheric sludge sessions in the afternoon. In the early night rather it fits some electro/EBM stuff and deep in the night dark ambient, noise and mindfucked old-school industrial machinery. I prefer loose, dreamy and lovely sounds in the morning but I could listen to thrash and groove if I am angry. I like the sound of bagpipes and other folky instruments when raining. But as I don't want to get routinely bored, this all bullshit and listening habits are settled to change whenever I want and be neccessary.

"...A brain is required to write a theory of a brain. From this follows that a theory of the brain, that has any aspirations for completeness, has to account for the writing of this theory. And even more fascinating, the writer of this theory has to account for her or himself. Translated into the domain of cybernetics; the cybernetician, by entering his own domain, has to account for his or her own activity. Cybernetics then becomes cybernetics of cybernetics, or second-order cybernetics" (Von Foerster 2003, p.289.)

"There is no actual infinite; the Cantorians have forgotten this, and that is why they have fallen into contradiction."
(H. Poincaré)

"We may regard the present state of the universe as the effect of its past and the cause of its future. An intellect which at a certain moment would know all forces that set nature in motion, and all positions of all items of which nature is composed, if this intellect were also vast enough to submit these data to analysis, it would embrace in a single formula the movements of the greatest bodies of the universe and those of the tiniest atom; for such an intellect nothing would be uncertain and the future just like the past would be present before its eyes."
(Pierre Simon Laplace, A Philosophical Essay on Probabilities)

"I was born human, but it was an accident of fate. ... Humanity can change itself but hopefully it will be an individual choice. Those who want to stay human can and those who want to evolve into something much more powerful with greater capabilities can. There is no way I want to stay a mere human."
(Kevin Warwick, Frequently Asked Questions. Accessed 2008-04-30.)
