Hi! Sorry for my "no fast response", too. Thanks, show me yours, if you want :P. Not really. We just happened to meet her and Hamauzu-san at the 4th Film Music Festival in Kraków. But I didn't manage to meet in eyes my idol, Joe Hisaishi who also was there :(... Did I mention about it before? I started to play piano ~3 months ago (for now I have only a keyboard with 4 octaves, though). And about Mina Sakai, does she create her own music? Do you like her?

Hey! Did you listen to "Chopin de Ghibli" by Risa Nakazono? It's awesome... She really did a great job, you clearly can hear Hisaishi's and Chopin's music connected. It's moving for me... I listened few months ago, today I returned to it and I'm even more impressed than before. She seems to be really a great, young pianist.

Btw., in the program also the music from "Lapyuta" is included. Hmm, is he popular in Poland? Very hard question... First of all, I don't think this kind of music is popular here. I guess his music is appreciated, but I don't think we have many fans of him like me, who listen to his music very carefully. I'm happy to hear that :). Though I don't know yet this piano concerto.

Huh... Could you tell me where do you live exactly (island, city)? Well, I think now finally is everything stabilizes, step by step? At least speaking about the nature, I guess stabilization of the country will take much time. Well, the fact that Hisaishi comes to Poland... I thought I'm dreaming... It is, I may call it "the best news ever" or something. I'm "overexcited" even today. I've go my ticket and I can't wait for 19 May. I have also write a poor post on my blog (of course I don't recommend you to read it, but I want to show you how much I'm happy... It still seems impossible - first time in Europe!).

I'm glad to hear you are right, but.... Well...yet besides loss of assets, there also are thousands of victims. They say it is the biggest crisis for Japan since the second World War. Though, I'm sure Japan and your economy will return to the previous position soon.

What other directors besides Miyazaki, Oshii, Kitano and Shinkai are worth to check? Did you have an occasion to see Joe Hisaishi in Budokan concert? I must admit that for me, that is the most epic thing I have ever watched. And btw., my favorite Nocturne of Chopin is h major, op. 62 no. 1.

Hah, I could guess that. Is your favorite movies of Ghibli/Miyazaki also "Tenkū no Shiro Rapyuta"? I've heard somewhere that it is the most liked masterpiece from Miyazaki. Is that how you say. No matter to what Hisaishi-san composes, his compositions are always epic. Hmm, my favorite score of Hisaishi is... I don't think I can say. There is so much epic music he created... Really, I don't have my top one. I watched all Miyazaki's movies and in everyone of them Hisaishi's scores are outstanding. Hmm, then you don't like violence? Personally, I can't say I do, but I find his movies attractive, because they have some "hidden messages", if you know what I mean. They are sad, they are hard and very serious. Haha, that is how it is, at least with me. I really appreciate him.

Hmm, to be honest, Nocturnes for me are pieces which THAT big popular I still don't understand. Of course I do like them and this one you mentioned I must admit is amazing, but personally I prefer more energetic and, how to say that, "powerful" forms. What about Sonatas? Surely you need to! Even I have, even though by 1-2 months I have been listening almost only Chopin's music (because of the competitions. Recitals in TV were almost everyday). Probably to the rest of my life I will not have enough of the genius of Chopin ;).

Hmm, well, I think we had and still have many talented pianists. Such as Zimmerman I mentioned already or Rafał Blechacz... You probably heard about Rubinstein, he also was a genius, but I don't find his interpretations the best out there. No need to sorry about that. Yes, I do. I must say that he is an incredible talented guy. He can play in comedies but also in violent movies. He is an actor, but also director. I heard he is also a politic, is that right? I was surprised that most of his movies are violent. For now, my favorite is "Dolls". Do you know it?

Well, I guess it is hard to say "favorite" piece of Fryderyk Chopin, I can't actually say it myself, since he created so many great compositions. Hmm, if you mention Pollini, I love his interpretations of Etudes. My favortie performer of Chopin music so far is Krystian Zimmerman. Did you ever him about that? Did you know that last year was the 16th Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw? It was very special, because we also celebrated 200th anniversary of his born. If you would like to, here you can watch recitals from this competition. Personally, I recommend Ingolf Wunder. Amazing pianist, I was on his concert, but he ended on the 2nd place (believe me that not fairly). Besides, Daniel Trifonov is not much worse. Mazurkas? Currently my favorite are from op. 24 and op. 33. Polish history? Really? Hmm... Is there something what fascinates you in Poland?
