Thanks. :) I have checked out Metric a long time ago. I don't remember how they sound like, so I guess it's time to re-listen to them. :D

In terms of films, I also love horrors, but there aren't many good ones around anymore. Recent ones I like are Paranormal Activity and Rec, did you see those? A few of my other favourites include Eagle vs Shark, Where the wild things are, the hours, alien, aliens, and most of the studio gihbli films, you know the japanese studio that made spirited away and ponyo? Most of their films are excellent! Are you back studying now, I guess it must be close to the end of summer holidays now? Write back, and I promise when I reply it will be much sooner! x

Hiya! Sorry for the delay! I don't have a fun reason like being trapped in a rural pub for days, just been busy, but hey, I finally remembered :D Heavy Rain looks awesome, I don't have a PS3, but it's on my agenda to get one as soon as I can afford it, I can't believe Metal Gear Solid 4 has been lacking from my life all this time! I'm still geeking out over FFXIII atm, my playthrough at the moment is something like 30 hours and I'm still loving it! My first degree was in psychology, and next week I'm starting ANOTHER degree in mental health nursing, I can't wait, new town, new friends, and getting back to the books after a year out, I can't wait! Did you get round to seeing Scott Pilgrim yet? I've started reading the graphic novels and they're pretty awesome too! You really have to go see it!

Part 3 of this now ridiculously long message! I'm so sorry for spamming your wall with all my chat! I know you asked what other films I liked, but I think what I've written so far is plenty for you to digest and get back to! Hope I've not chatted too much shit. Write back soon, nothing makes me happier than logging into last.fm and being told I have new shoutbox messages! x

PART 2 OF THIS REALLY LONG MESSAGE :D ...floor pretty hard, drank too much, spent too much money, but it was all good fun! I wish I'd have spent more of my youth going to gigs and stuff, but there wasn't much of a music scene where I grew up, and it was quite a long way to any of the major cities and towns that hosted the big bands, guess there's always time to make up for that though. So, I was actually in the middle of writing that reply when my lift arrived to go to the movies, so...SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD WAS AMAZING! No joke, I had a smile on my face the whole time, not because it was constantly funny, just because I was enjoying it so much, and there are so many video game references that satisfy my inner geek (well mostly outer geek actually), definitely recommend that you go see it. It was even better because I went with two lesbians who absolutely hated it, I don't think they had a clue what it was about before we went, so they were pretty much like "wtf"!

Yeh I think the series is called Fatal Frame in the US. It's well worth checking out, the second one (Crimson Butterfly) might be the scariest game I've ever played. I love both those series' of games, Tomb Raider and RE, the first one is an absolute classic, I love the playstation era. What's in your console at the minute: what are you currently playing? I picked up FFXIII for real cheap at the weekend, and I'm really enjoying that, and funnily enough, speaking of tomb raider, I've got a playthrough of TR4 (last revalation) going at the minute, but it's taken a bit of a back seat to FF at the minute. I sound like such a geek with all this video game chat! How do you like studying English? A lot of my best friends at Uni studied that, I find people in the Arts / Literature faculty are the most interesting, so I like to surround myself with those kinds of people, even though it's different from my academic choices. I love going out too, this weekend was payday and I hit the dance...

I complain about it a lot but I love it. I eventually want to write and produce my own films so I'm meeting and working with all of the people who can make that happen.

I head up the script units in London and Los Angeles for an international film company based here in London. Moved back to London a year ago for it. Since I have dual citizenship with the UK and US it was an easy move.

Even though I grew up in LA I spent my summer school holidays in London and I've always felt more at home here than in LA. I very happy to be living here again. The bonus is that my job takes me to Los Angeles about every six weeks so I can see my family and friends there.

Agreed, the two go hand in hand for me too, that's a great way of describing Yamaoka's music I think: beautiful and creepy. I like many things, video games, especially survival horror. Have you ever played the Project Zero games? Terrifying! What else? Hmm I've been exploring new authors lately, I'm giving Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand a go, it's pretty hefty but I'm enjoying it. Music obviously, is a big interest, last.fm might be the website in the history of forever! How about you, tell me more about you. Where do you live, what do you do? I'm off to see Scott Pilgrim vs The World tonight, so excited about that. Write back! x

I'm good, thanks. A bit overworked at the moment, but no complaints otherwise. I live in central London, about midway between the V&A and Hyde Park. I know what you mean about feeling landlocked. I grew up for the most in Los Angeles and was near the ocean as often as possible.

Umm I think my favourite is the "The Dreaming". I have a soft spot for The Red Shoes and The Senusal World too. I hope she releases a new album soon.
