I'm so sorry for leaving you hanging there for a while. I have a problem sometimes remembering some things like conversations and stuff. Anyways, I was asking you if you wanted to hear some instrumental rock, but I'll look into vgdmb.com, thanks."By 2000-ish I was thoroughly tired of popular music, or even album-based music in general, due to the tendency for a few decent songs to be surrounded by mopey inconsequentialness, if I found the hits decent at all." Greatest hits collection are worthless and finding stuff on the radio even more so. I've been finding music through conversation with groups and online friends since 2009, though it's usually 90's and 80's stuff and 70's stuff. I find myself amazed at what I find that hardly anyone ever knows about. There were even rock bands back in the 60's and 70's that makes Black Sabbath sound like Green Day. Radio is just worthless and irritating. Don't need to hear the next pop star that'll succumb to depression and drugs, thanks.

"The music is not set up to serve a voice, except occasionally in some cd soundtracks." Even as someone who usually listens to a lot of music with vocals, I kind of agree, especially when the songs get remixed with added vocals. I remember one of the songs off of a Megaman game remixed metal style with nasal singing. Utter cringe. There is this soundtrack though I kind of like though from the game Bastion usually composed of folk tunes. "I try not to listen to any one thing too much, and depending on my mood I have different favorites." Yeah, one day I feel like listening to some oldschool alternative rock, other times I feel like listening to death/thrash metal, and other times some rareware game soundtrack, favorite one being Goldeney, though honestly I haven't listened to much video game soundtracks. Gonna check those artists out though. I'm wanting to listen to more of that kind of stuff, especially the very oldschool 8-bit music from the early to mid 90's..

Lack of vocal styles? Are you saying you don't like vocal styles at all? >:/ I agree though, video game music usually has a very unique sense of melody and great use of various instruments. What's your favorite video game soundtrack?

You've got one huge library. Most of them video game artists I assume?

I have given up trying to keep Nobuo Uematsu off the top of my "most played" list. He's just done more stuff than anybody else whose stuff I listen to! I'm sure you care!

Winamp can do it as well, I think. I just haven't intentionally used it since long before Justin Frankel left for greener pastures.

Why export, when one can play the original SPCs right from their archives? :) That's the power of Foobar2000 with the various archive and video game music components. ;)

Über mich

I want to clog your database with junk nobody else listens to.

This just about tells the story, I think. For beet's sake my biggest album is a blank square! And it's bigger than it used to be! I don't even know what that album is!
