Über mich

Single Woman of The Year
(Still single and looking .... AND currently taking applications!)
Former model, singer.

I was raised on what I call "old school jazz". As a child, I listened while daddy played the good ol' jams like Grant Green, Herbie Mann, Wes Montgomery. My great grandma was a dancer at the historic "Cotton Club" in Harlem, New York. She had some great stories to tell about the famous clubs heyday! I grew up listening to those stories and her music. She sang, and played those heavy vinyl 78 rpm albums. Her son, my grandpa, played great jazz on "reel to reel", like Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Jack McDuff, Jimmy Smith, and so many others. He still plays all that, and I am right there listening to it, and to him play jazz on his Hammond B3 organ. Yes indeed, I love jazz! I almost went crazy when my daughter would blast gangsta rap on my stereo back in her teenage years. It took a long while, but she learned to like my music, well, some of it. Thats okay, I can work on my 7 year old grandson, and teach him to love jazz too, the good ol' music and history!

Feel free to drop me a note & share.
